I ate here because it is adjacent to the Lillstreet Art Gallery Shop - which has items made from local artists.
I had a  sandwich and a slice of their apple pie with ice cream. I ate it in the afternoon and I was so full that I just wanted to go home and sleep. It was very good. Everything in the store looked good and the shop which is in Lillstreet Art Center just beckons to come be eaten at.
I go to First Slice quite often because the food is excellent. I usually go for (and recommend) the Goat Cheese/Poached Pear Sandwich. I decided to try something different the other day, a beet salad and poached pear wrap. What I got was roasted beets and lettuce in a wrap... no flavor, no pears.
I keep going here, because I do like that goat cheese sandwich, but other issues are starting to wane any good vibes. The customer service is offensively bad, and it takes 15 minutes for your sandwich to be made.
