Deuces and The Diamond Club

Saturday post Cubs game - late afternoon. 8 of us had a great time in the cabana/patio area. The patio decor including the reflecting pool created a relaxing and social atmosphere. Although I was slightly worried about falling in! This establishment is a lot larger than I had thought so I will have to visit again on a non game day for some food or a night out. This place seems to transition from brunch/day party to lounge/club well. Industrial chic in Wrigley...something new. 4th star is for keeping my interest.

They have a nice bar patio, but from the looks of the place can get a bit douchey. They had a pool outside, which could get interesting in the summer. I spent a Saturday afternoon there and it was okay. There was no beer specials and waitress forgot our food order. The reason I actually disliked the place most was that they had the Chicago Bulls playoff game on and everyone in the bar was glued to that amazing tripple overtime game. Though it took the bar until the 2nd overtime to play the game sound instead of club music. Idiots.

i like this place. it's one of the few places I've seen in Wrigleyville that has something to accomodate everyone. they have plenty of tables downstairs for people who actually want food. they have a lounge-y area for people who want to just drink, and they have a dance floor upstairs for people who want to dance. also, ladies don't pay cover. can't complain about that. =)
