I came here on a freezing ass February weeknight and it was well worth it.
There was only one occupied table and Im sure it was due to the freezing temperatures. Very turkish looking interior as they had areas where you could sit on the floor with nice, comfy looking pillows.
The menu itself was packed with delicious looking items. I decided to try the Tarvuk Sarma which is chicken breast stuffed with sautéed spinach, cheese & onion alongside sautéed vegetables. Very good, but my lady got the lamb shank which looked and tasted even better...will def have to try that next time. You can bring your own bottle of wine, but they have what seems to be a full bar.
Not too far from my current residence so I can see myself returning a few more times. FYI there is a belly dancer that performs here on some nights...
Celebrated mom's b-day. Made a reservation for a group for Sat night. Everything was perfect. BYOB which makes it a great deal. The food was plenty and amazing. We were all full from the appetizers, so most of us took the kebabs and the main courses to go. They brought a special b-day plate for mom and sang for her, and deserts for everyone on the house.
Fri and Sat they have a belly dancer, which is so much fun. She engages with the tables and with anyone willing to dance. It is fun fun fun :)
The service is great. Highly recommend you visit that restaurant.
I went to Sofra on a recommendation.  We sat at one of the window seats, which meant around a small table with a small electric fireplace to keep us warm. So cute!  Then we got the food!  It was DELICIOUS!  We started with the cold appetizer platter that was amazing, then moved to the hot appetizer platter, which was equally as good!  Then there was the cucumber, tomato, onion salad...I need to have this recipe at some point in my life...it's healthy and delectable all at once.  After all of this we have a main course which was the "mix platter"  Basically a bunch of stuff they have on the  menu all at once and Oh EM Gee...it was crazy good.  All of the meat was melt in your mouth delicious and and the rice with potato was a combo I didn't think I would like, but was proven wrong, as, I kept going back to it.  All in all, everyone should eat at Sofra all of the time!  I DIDN"T EVEN MENTION THE BELLYDANCER...cause there was a BELLYDANCER!!!!  And she was great too...lots of fun and tried to get everyone into the dancing of the bellies....even if you had a belly  that was gelatinous.
