Torta Donna

I first came here in 2007 with a GF who loved their veggie burritos.
But I'm only vegetarian for about 23 hours a day.  As, I'm chewing down meat those other 60 minutes and well if I want Carne Asada I'll hit Tecalitlan (BTW, they do a great veggie Cauliflower burrito too) on Chicago Ave.  If I want Carnitas I'll head down to 18th St.  or over to Mercadito in River North.  Anyway, back to Donna Torta,  they always have free parking,  the staff is very nice, the selection of liquados and smoothies is huge and the steak and chicken is edible.  But considering what a food desert Lake View has become I guess 3 stars is better than 90% of the crap served on Belmont from Ashland east to the Lake.
