Wrightwood Tap

Pretzel rods!!!!  Wrightwood Tap still has more of the younger Lincoln Park crowd that I would like, but it's always a fun time.  They have a ton of great beers on tap and they let you bring in your own food!  I have heard their happy hour includes premium beers, but I have yet to try it.  On the weekends the places gets more of a club vibe as the night goes on, but that just means its time for me to leave.  Overall this is a solid bar and probably the best bar in the Bar 1 group.

Had a very pleasant experience here watching football on a Sunday afternoon.  I see a few have mentioned service issues on here, but our bartender could not have been more friendly - maybe it being a somewhat quiet Sunday afternoon helped.  We didn't realize on entering that they didn't have a kitchen, but they ordered pizza for the games and had a binder full of delivery restaurants - actually saved us some cash over a normal day out.

One note on being dog friendly - I love dogs, but some people do a really good job of training their pets and... some don't.  There was a customer in here this day that didn't.  I hope for the sake of the others who want more dog friendly places that this was an exception, as it was a real distraction.

Dog owners  listen up this bar is dog friendly a great place to bring the pup when its rainy or to cold for a walk. when we arrived there was one other dog they all played nice and then relaxed and sat under table as we ate and had a few drinks. No kitchen here why it is dog friendly but they have a 3" think menu book and can get delivery we picked up from Barn and Co as it is just down the street. The bar seems pretty typical but the dog friendly bumps it up to 5 stars for me.
