I used to love this place...until they recently tried to scam me out of money. Â I'd left a jacket there a few months back (St. Patrick's Day weekend, 2013). Â When I went to retrieve it, I was told that I'd skipped out on a $70 bar tab and that someone else paid it for me (who just so happened to conveniently be at the bar at the time). Â I was shown a $30 receipt I'd signed for and told that I skipped out on another $70 (how this happened, I'll never know). Â Before I could even react, I was given the worst attitude about it. Â I felt really bad, so I insisted that I pay the guy back. Â Before I went to get the money for him, I double checked my bank statement. Â Not only did I pay the $30 tab they showed me, I'd also paid the $72 tab they accused me of skipping out on PLUS another $20 tab I didn't even know about...all on the same day (I have a copy of said statement if anyone cares to question what I've said here). Â Three tabs in one sitting? Â Sounds like a pretty shady deal to me. Â I will NEVER step foot in this establishment again. Â If ripping off their customers is what they're all about (whether knowingly or not), I'll pass. Â There are much nicer (and cheaper) options in the neighborhood. Â If you go here, I advise you to pay cash!!!
Review Source:I love coming to this place... But more so than the bar, I love love love Debbie and Amanda! Â They work on the "off hours" but that's cool with me because Friday and Saturday night this place gives me anxiety, too many Lincoln park wannabes... But Sundays are my favorite day... Debbie during the day giving me advice on everything from what color I paint my nails to what major life decision I should make... And at night I have sweet Amanda putting a smile on my face.
I will only come to this bar when they are here and I highly recommend that you come to get to know these ladies! You won't regret it!
