Rose's Lounge

Rose's is the definition of dive bar.  We walked in and I felt like I was walking into someone's house party in their grandmother's basement (I just read other reviews and it seems like this is the typical feeling).  Even this grandmother's knick knacks are on display.  We ended up having a great time and the bar really filled up by the end of the night.  Great music on the juke box, beer is on the cheaper side and served in frozen mugs.  Yes, the chairs have duct tape on them, but isn't that the point of being a dive bar?  Cash only.

This place is THE BEST!!!  If you want to feel like you are drinking in your grandparents basement then I highly recommend Rose's!  Cheap drinks and the nicest staff.  The bartender played music in the juke box on his dime.  He also played Patsy Cline and it was perfect.  Great dive bar for the area.  I definitely wasn't expecting the atmosphere since it's in Lincoln Park.

Good pitcher prices. Really fun atmosphere. Bartenders aren't very chatty but they give you what you ask for. Great place to go if you want to hang in groups on couches or cozy up to the bar.
