Only "Yay! I'm a fan" - ing because of their $10 Sunday wine flights. That is saving your star-age.
1. Yes, They have a healthy selection of wines, reasonably priced and they are very personable.
2. Yes, It is a romantic atmosphere.
3. Yes, they do flights with Molly Cupcakes.
Now, lets counter those points.
1. Healthy via $10 wine flight Sundays. Just go on Sundays if you want variety and your money staying in your wallet. If you love your bottle, go on Monday for 50% off bottles. But who wants a wine hangover for Tuesday. Really.
2. Romantic.... because you're cozying up with your neighbor! You not are feeling a little paranoid that the couple next to you is listening into your conversation and judging you, you're completely distracted by other people's conversations and being a total a-hole judging. You can't help it. They are every. And there aren't enough seats that you're rubbing shoulders. So you're semi-yelling and laughing at your embarrassing story as you are tipsy on wine with a couple smooching next to you. Classy.
(Oh, and side note. Infront of the oh~~ so romantic fireplace, there was a couple lip smacking away. Again, ROMANTIC... in a movie but we're not at the movies are we. I wanted to re-smack them with my cheese plate to get them to go home and PDA away as they wash away the cheese from each other. Please people, this isn't Spain. I will find it romantic when I am there. But I'm not.)
3. Ladies, it's summer. Get real. You shouldn't even be contemplating cupcakes to go with your wine. You're wine is a treat enough you have to burn for tomorrow. Don't make it triple trouble.
-----Want to indulge? -------
Get their food like the grilled artichokes (SO GOOD), Lobster deviled eggs has a good spice kick and chucks of lobster meat, and last but not least, chorizo stuffed dates. Now, save those three options for gluttony. Pass on the cupcakes.
Got there as little to late for the kitchen? Get the Choice of 3 Bruschetta!
----My top three---
Brie + Apples (DUH)
Mushroom + Goat cheese + Truffle oil
Fig jam + Gorgonzola
OVERALL: It's really good... on a Sunday (ha!) Other days are not worth it, over crowded, annoying, gets pricey, and uncomfortable with people watching you waiting for YOUR table.
