This place is great. Excellent Middle Eastern fare and an attractive, quiet setting. Prices are extremely reasonable and love the BYOB policy. No corkage fee and nice stemmed wine glasses. And, to top that, they offer lunch specials that include soup and the most expensive is $8. (and enough to take home leftovers for dinner). What's not to like?!
Review Source:I have been here twice - both during the week. I've had wonderful experiences both times. Service is attentive and food is delicious.
The entrees come with a cup of soup or salad. In my case, I always take the soup option because their soups are incredibly delicious. You get two options: red harira or lentil. Both are delicious -- and not too salty, which is my typical complaint with soups. I tend to favor the harira a bit more because the lentil tasted a tiny bit "can"-y to me (i.e., it came out of a can). My boyfriend disagrees.
I had their vegetarian options both times and sampled their chicken dishes. First, the portions are huge. Second, their chicken is never dry (unlike some of the fast food Mediterranean lunch places). Third, their vegetarian options have a light olive oil drizzle on top, which I absolutely enjoy. Their flavors are subtle (and not just dependent on salt) but well balanced.
Their decor is almost a bit gimmicky with painted desert scenes and Arabic (?) pop music in the background.
My favorite items: hummus, soups, chicken shwarma. They deliver too.
