Golden Apple Restaurant

My BNI group meets here every Tuesday, and they do a great job for us.  Every request is handled with a smile, and our waitress, Barbara, is practically invisible as she takes our orders, delivers food and checks.  Coffee refills just appear.

The owners are really nice, and it has been completely remodeled inside and out.  Yet, they didn't raise all the menu prices!

This is a nice place to get a good meal at a decent price, have privacy while you meet, and even get free parking on Wellington.

This place is great for simple dishes such as a grilled cheese sandwich or a burger or an omelet. If you go this route you will likely not be disappointed.

However, if you get the crazy idea to order a steak (like I did once) you will be sad you did. So don't! The steak was very fatty, no flavor whatsoever, and the presentation was extremely sad.

On the positive side, the service here is always exceptional from the moment you walk in until you walk out. Very friendly staff.

Do remember... order simple dishes

For a small little diner this place is very good. Our waitress was great as was all of the staff in the restaurant. I got the 2222 which was good for the price. My girlfriend had eggs Benedict and said it was amazing.
