Cafe Furaibo

The sushi was good and the prices are cheap.

I got takeout here last night.  It was my first time back in a few years and man, oh, man is the sushi still delicious.  Friendly staff, awesome food, awesome value.

I am truly torn writing this review for Café Furaibo (affectionately called Car Wash Sushi by our friends thanks to being literally surrounded by the car wash on the corner of Lincoln and Lakewood). For food I would give them a 4. Their rolls are solid, the tuna avocado salad is one of my favorite foods of life, the prices are really reasonable and it's BYOB. The reason I'm torn is the ambiance (worthy of a 3). It's kind of depressing inside and therefore usually fairly empty. When it's not empty, they are understaffed. The hostess/waitress is really great but when the place is packed it's too much for one person to handle!

Because I cannot give a 3.5, I will round up to 4 because I kind of love the car wash sushi and it is great for takeout. And seriously, try the salad, the dressing is amazing!
