Awesome burritos? Check. Cooked fresh? Check. Open almost 24 hours a day and calls to you like a siren when you're drunk and hangry? Double-check!
The restaurant is small and not fancy by any means, but that doesn't mean the 3 guys I see working there (every time I go be it 2 PM or 2 AM) don't whip up quick and pretty awesome mexican food...and jokes from time to time depending on who's acting a fool in front of them. Not to mention the prices are cheap, so you can totally go home full of sopes or tacos for about $5. If you want some entertainment the best time to go is around 3 AM on a Friday or Saturday night.
I'm addicted to the avocado burrito and care asada quesadilla.
My rating of 3 stars might be a tad misleading. Â I think the food is 4 or 5 stars... but the dive-atmosphere gets 2 stars.
So, if you don't mind the way the place looks/feels... the food is worth the experience.
A friend of mine who visits several times a year (and stays at a nearby bed & breakfast) would be perfectly happy to eat ALL his meals at the Taco & Burrito Palace.
Um - really what can I say?
Its a sunny day and you want a quick meal - this is your place!!

You just dont wanna cook and want cheap, tasty Mexican food - this is your place!
After 2 years of living nearby I have eaten here dozens of times and it is great! Â Cheap, large portions, friendly guys (who put up with some crazy drunks) who are open late, have a clean place and take credit cards when you are out of cash!
ENJOY your tacos! Â Cheers!
