Belmont Burlesque

this show delivers fun and spunky dancing ladies that take off (some) of their clothing all in one. while its not the highest production value [read: semi-amateur feel] burlesque - for 10$ you get an hour of good entertainment. the jokes are plentiful and often bawdy.. the ladies energetic. definitely maximize on the byob :)

Went to a show last night.. sober. yes sober
which if i was drunk this place woulda had 5 stars
First of all its BYOB which we didnt know.. as i said earlier i wish i did cuz then i woulda been drunk... ANYWAYS its 10 bucks to get in we bought our tickets online.. we went in a group of 4 and we got seats in the back corner that wernt even seats .. they were just extra seats they put there ... my seat was wooden and my ass hurt i couldnt move because it was such a tight fit with my boyfriend to one side of me and some past out girl to the other side of me...

the first 10 mins i was like i cannot wait to get out of here and write a terrible review on this place BUTTTT after a few acts i was laughing so hard i forgot all about my discomforts...  i just wish i knew a few things i know now before i went there

3. IF YOU COME IN A BIG GROUP YOU GET BETTER SEATS.
4. IF U DONT COME IN A BIG GROUP GET THERE EARLY SO U DONT HAVE A CORNER FOLD OUT WOODEN SH*T CHAIR FOR A SEAT

but it was totally worth the 10 bucks the show was like 2 hours long and real funny.. give it a try i know ill be back with a big group and booze. :)

This is a really fun and easily enjoyable burlesque show! You will get the side of burlesque that is easy breezy, classic, cute, and a little cheesy. No "egg-laying" tricks *ifyouknowwhatImean*. It's a fun date night b/c it's only $10 and it's BYOB! I really feel like BBR shows explore that side of sexiness that is fun & playful and makes you feel good. You're not necessarily going to be squirming in your seat & sweating.

Also, it's funny as hell! The MCs are great and always keep the show flowing and the audience laughing. Tomas, a hilariously nerdy magician, is a riot. Audience members feel like they are a part of the show.

If you like your boobs w/ plenty of camp, go see a BBR show!
