I don't treat myself to a burger often but after spending an hour in a sensory deprivation tank, a burger was a sure way to bring me back to reality!
They have a decent menu including salads, chicken options and of course burgers! Â
I went with the Indie Burger (Swiss cheese, grilled onions, and Indie sauce) combo which included fries and a bottled beverage for $10.99.
The fries were fresh, hot and crispy! So yummy! Â The burger was also very tasty but not the *best* burger I've had. I guess after not eating a burger in awhile, I was expecting more from it.
I'd def go back though and possibly try the BBQ chicken sandwich next time.
This place is good, but not really all that spectacular. I liked my burger, it was relatively memorable, but it's not exactly revelatory. I really wanted to like the onion rings but I have to say I'm not sure what all the fuss is about - ours were really greasy, though they were flavorful. The milkshake was really good though! Altogether, it's also pretty pricey.
The ambiance here though is really great. I love the wood panelling and the recycled everything, and their music selection is also top notch and not too loud.
All in all, I prefer the food at Epic Burger, which has a similar kind of vibe to it. But the burgers are good, and the milkshakes are good, and they let me bring beer in, so hey, I can't complain all that much.
