Steamworks

I was in Chicago over about a 4 day period and went hear every day.  

The place is very clean and has great facilities including an amazing maze like Jacuzzi with many jets and a very unique and cool look to it.  The steam room is really big and nice and hot but not uncomfortably hot.  

The room options were great, I got the extra large room one night and although expensive it was the biggest room I have ever seen in a bathhouse, it is nice to have that option.

The gym was great with nice equipment.

I will probably diverge with a lot of people's opinion on this but I actually found it to be the best and when I got the most action was off peak Saturday, Friday night hours.  The place was way too crowded on Friday and Saturday night and everybody seemed to be constantly looking around for the hotter guy or bigger cock to walk in.  I also felt strange with so many people looking at you if you were screwing around.  It was absolutely jam packed where you could barely move.

Surprisingly I got the most action on get this, Monday afternoon.  I mean I could find a guy in the steam room and suck on him for a while and not be so concerned he is going to ditch me for a hotter guy or whatever.  Monday afternoon at Steamworks Chicago was busier than most bathhouses I have been to on Saturday night.

It seemed to be about 40% black, 40% white and 20% mixed race (more latinos in that 20% than other races).  I am from a city with maybe 1% black people so I was a bit uncomfortable with so many blacks (associating them a bit to HIV, ghettos and crime) (sorry for any offense I don't mean to offend just provide information) but I do really like their big cocks and hot bodies.  It seemed to be more whites screwed with whites and blacks with blacks but plenty of exceptions.

I read many people review this to be the best gay bathhouse in the USA, I am not sure about that but I have been to many and this is better than any other I have been to in the USA.  I actually found I preferred Steamworks Toronto thought.  It has a nice hot tub area that has more light.  Both are very high end amazing bathhouses and probably 2 of the best in North American easily.

I recommend this place for sure and Steamworks Toronto for sure.

Not sure why I decided to go to a bath house while in Chicago. I was there on business but I had one completely free night all to myself. After reading the reviews of Steamworks I decided to check it out. Upon entering I was kind of nervous but I found the staff to be very professional. I only wish they would've been a little clearer on giving directions to my private room. Steamworks is really large and there are four levels. The entrance level has an open locker room area, the lower level has a large, very dark hot tub, shower room and a steam room. Oddly not a lot of guys were down there. The upper two levels have private rooms and many glory hole areas which is mainly where all the action is. The men here are of all different ages and sizes and races. I was really happy about that. Since everyone is really there for the same thing and pretty much baring all there was no attitude. I got there around 9:30 on a Saturday night and it was just getting busy. By the time I left around 1am it was quite busy. Lots of action taking place pretty much everywhere. It's amazing a place like this exists! For never being in a bath house before I was glad that I went to Steamworks. It's clean, comfortable and safe. If you just go with the flow and let yourself experience it you are sure to have a great time. I really respected that they promote safe sex. When in Chicago next I would love to return.

Clean, generally fairly active and they do regular promotions and theme nights. The price is decent, especially considering you're getting access to a pretty clean place with a good number of people going in and out.
