Yoshi's Cafe

LOVE this restaurant! Nothing can beat great food, great service, and a restaurant that can be perfect for both a quick, casual meal or a big celebration. While it can look a little confusing or intimidating from the street, nothing could be further from the truth once you enter the restaurant. Perfect for everything from an AMAZING burger or vegan stuffed squash (my favorite go-to order) to the specials, which are always a fantastic mix of influences. There are many things I've ordered that I honestly can say I've never had better (including, but not limited to, the stuffed squash, the lobster bisque soup, and the tuna Benito box) and that I consistently crave.

What I love most about Yoshi's Cafe is how amazingly great the service is. I've visited the restaurant with everyone from family to a 6 month old baby to my boyfriend for special celebrations and always been welcomed by the waitstaff and owners with open arms.

There isn't another restaurant I recommend more!!!

Love Love Love Yoshi's!  Yoshi's is classy without being pretentious and made an evening out with my date and new friend extra special.  The Cucumber Sake Martini was smooth and balanced. I had four (4)!  The Tuna Tartare paired with one of the best oyster shooter's in sake was heaven.  I also tried the grilled Octopus (new on menu) which was perfection!  Our bartender was incredible.  Not allowed to leave name, but has an awesome beard!  What's cool about this restaurant is that you can have a romantic evening here, a casual evening here, or a night out with friends.  I need to come back and try more of what's on the menu.  I noticed the lamb chop being served and the presentation looked exceptional.  Thank you for a laid back evening Yoshi's!  The cuisine, the service and the ambiance was just perfect.

I have to agree with some of the other reviews, I find the complimentary hummus and the salsa with bread to be a bit out of place but they taste pretty good...so I guess it's NOT a bad thing. As far as food goes I had the award winning waygu burger and I have to say it was good, as expected. I really liked the pear sauce and I even liked the fried green panko tomato (in general I hate tomatoes).

It's also pretty cool how Yoshi walks around and meets most of his patrons regularly. So in summary, good food, very quiet and romantic decor that's good for a nice date.
