I've successfully been here twice but tried to visit a few other times unsuccessfully....I would give Frances' an extra star, if it weren't for the weird hours. Â They're only open for dinner on the weekends (!) and even then, close early---Yelp said they close at 7, their website said 8 so we called and they said "7:30ish." Â We showed up around 7:30 and were seated but they closed down while we were there. Â
We've been pleased with everything we've had--- great sandwiches and shakes. Â The breakfast menu looks solid too--- I only wish they'd follow more traditional hours.
I've lived in the neighborhood for a while, but always walked past this unassuming spot. Â When my fiance and I were walking down Clark, looking for a new place to get some grub we thought we'd give Frances' a shot and I am so glad we did!
We both got deli sandwiches-him with the corned beef and I with the turkey club and I can say that we both had amazingly fresh plates! Â It was reasonably priced and the service was great. Â I'll definitely be visiting again and testing the breakfast menu next time! :)
