Duke's Bar & Grill

Dear Duke's,
Thank you for existing.  A turkey burger Hawaiian style with tots and a Guinness can always turn my frown upside down on a rainy day.

Have to write another review for Duke's because this is by far our favorite place to go for beer, wings and burgers. Their wings are to die for, simply stated. We crave them every day. Their beer selection is great as well, but don't always expect the beer you want to be there. The good part about that though is it forces you to try other selections on their menu that you would have never tried. Thanks to their knowledgeable staff, they recommend great alternatives. I also love getting basically the same servers every time we are there because we have been able to get to know them. It makes dinner and beer night a much better experience when the ppl taking care of you know you, so definitely an added plus! Lastly, I really like the music they play in there. The overall vibe is exactly what we are looking for for a night to get away from our busy work life's. If you haven't tried this place, definitely do and go during the week to take advantage on some of their weekly specials (it's also not as busy in comparison to the weekends). Keep it up Duke's, we look forward to seeing you again soon!

This place is great if you're looking for an extensive list of beers. My friend and I were trying to find a place to grab a few beers on a Thursday evening, and we ended up here since I was staying in Lincoln Park.

Their menu consisted mainly burgers, but we ended up ordering a bunch of appetizers (since it was buy 1, get 1 free).

1) TATER TOTS & CHILI: Can't go wrong with tater tots!
2) FRIED MAC & CHEESE: I actually didn't eat any of these, so I can't tell you if it's good or not.
3) MINI CORN DOGS: Could've done without.
4) POPCORN SHRIMP: Absolutely delicious.

Service was meh. I felt like I kept on waving for someone to grab our orders and to grab our bill.

Overall, it's a good place to grab a few beers and all, but not the best with regards to service.
