Allende Restaurant

After reading all these reviews, I was really looking forward to that burrito. I spent my last five dollars on that thing, and man oh man was I disappointed. A lot of discrepancies in these reviews. Should have figured, being next to DePaul and all.
This food was disgusting. The ground beef tastes like school cafeteria ground meat. I only ate it because I couldn't waste it. It made me sick to my stomach. Miserable day.
Asked if the tortilla chips were restaurant style, and she said yes. No, no they were not. They were decent, just not my taste.
Also, customer service actually is not friendly at all. The woman at the counter was straight-up rude, as was the cook.
Those who gave this a five star are, probably, mostly alcoholic college students, and maybe restaurant staff cheers up more around dinner time.

Also, there was a twig in my burrito.

It's not for everyone, that's all.

445 am steak tortas after a long night? any place that can do that- makes my night. The hot sauce may be the best part of it. Next time I'm craving heavy food (who am I kidding, I always do) after 3 am- I'll be back.
