I came here once....experience was so awesome I decided to throw my birthday here subsequently after.

First of all...I don't really like sushi but the sushi and the experience here is freaking awesome! Second to none! I do caution that this is more of a young person eating place. If you are like 40 and looking for some sushi...probably not the place for you...unless you still drink and party hard at 40

Let's start off...if you come for a weekend dinner...90% of the time you are going to have parties duke it out over who can sake bomb the loudest and fastest. I understand this isn't for some people(whether you are older or hate noise or whatever) but I think that the interactive-ness of the restaurant makes it a great dining experience!!!

I went with large parties both times so when we did the all you can eat and drink sushi/sake the chef (forgot his name but the dude is awesome) makes sushi in a certain order for you. You don't need to order. That being said one of the most stand out rolls is the armitage roll. I believe it is a crab roll with tuna lumps on top and covered with a bit of sesame oil and scallion. SO FREAKING GOOD. YOU MUST GET IT.

I love the fact that my waiter also did sake bombs with us and one time I went...I think it was the time on my birthday...They did a sake bomb contest between 4 parties (mine included) and the fastest sake bomber got a free sushi o sushi shirt. Fun!

Oh they also gave me free birthday dessert that was decorated with "Happy Birthday Harry"

Sushi is good overall, Armitage roll is awesome.  It's a simple and inexpensive place. Everyone on the staff is incredibly friendly and cares about you enjoying yourself.  They host a Sake Bomb Party for larger groups and on most Friday/Saturday nights.  The prize is a t-shirt and your picture on the wall.  You might not care about that right now while reading this review but after going there, you will.  Come hell or high water, I'm going to win that t-shirt.

Okay so this was the most random, last minute experience of my life. I'm a planner so coming here was not expected. We had dessert only reservations at Geja's next door around 10:00pm on a Friday night but came in around 9:15 and I was hungry for some sushi, and long behold, here's little hole in the wall with red walls, Sushi O Sushi conveniently located next to Geja's. I ran in there and decided to do a carryout order of some spicy salmon rolls (my fave).

When I came in I was surprised by what I saw, and from other reviews I can see this is a typical occurrence here.

    1. two large parties of my age peeps (mid 20's) screaming, shouting, have a freaking ball!
    2. Taking sake shots like no other while platters of sushi was being passed out.

How come I wasn't invited to the party? Okay, so it may be a little too chaotic for me to actually go and enjoy a sushi dinner w/ some friends, but hey, if you are feeling wild and crazy and want sushi, than this is the place to be. Definitely not a place to take out your grandmother. The sue chef was very fast with my order and he told me to come back next time for a full "experience." I said that I will consider it. The sushi was actually very good, fresh, full of salmon chunks, good rice to fish ratio, very tasty. I swallowed those pieces like no tomorrow. So overall, fun vibe, very casual, very loud and good sushi. And the service seemed to be pretty good as the kids all looked happy, or maybe that was all the sake.
