I love this place. The wait is long during prime breakfast/brunch time, but worth it. The orange coffee, "make your own" juice and Chorizo hash are just a few of my favorite things. Then there's the sidewalk seating in the summer, the green eggs and ham, the Caprese Benedict ... I could go on and on. Without a doubt, this is one of my favorite brunch spots.
Note: Â I can't speak to the quality of their alcoholic beverages. While I enjoy a Bloody Mary or Mimosa with brunch, I've never ordered them here because I love the juice and coffee so much.
Had brunch here yesterday. Love the pancake flight, frushi, and side of grilled sausage. The side of potatoes was good, an interesting way of making them. Our server was very nice. Very nice decor. We sat next to the colorful fireplace
The green eggs and ham is ok but it is not as good as I expected it to be. It looks like they put the basil on first and then cook it. The flavor just didn't come through like I expected. May be better if they add the pesto after. Orange coffee is ick. Not that it sounded that good to begin with but I was curious. pass on that. Overall I like this place and would try some other stuff here.
3.5 stars.
Five stars for: My server was exceptional and I really appreciated his sweet-and- awesomeness as I was coming in here on my own at about 2pm after a crummy morning. He made me laugh! Can't beat that.
Two ish stars for the Omelet #5 "gluten-free all natural, locally made Apple-Chicken-Chardonnay sausage w/carmelized onions, sauteed spinach and white cheddar, topped with spiced-pecan sour cream. Â $9.99. Â SOUNDS AMAZING! wasn't. Â It was bland. Don't ask me to explain this...I'm still baffled & at $9.99 I don't think it lived up to the price of admission. (Note: that price includes house potatoes or a fruit plate and toast, so it's actually fair...if only had the taste been there.) Â I really have to try it again because c'mon APPLE CHICKEN CHARDONNAY SAUSAGE!?! If I had to be a meat...that's the meat I'd be!
Four stars for: The orange coffee! I really enjoyed this twist...so much so that I got two pounds of beans to go. Even though it wasn't vacuum packed or anything - it had a very good shelf life & flavor stayed true for two months!
I enjoyed the casual friendly ambiance - & sitting up at table with a view of the sidewalk/street. Nice people watching right next to an outlet for my little laptop. I'll definitely try it again.
