I used to love love love this bar despite the dirt and smell. It has a great atmosphere, the bartenders are awesome, and the piano man is so much fun.

But I came here on Halloween with a big group of people and one person had an id from Hawaii that the bouncer didn't recognize so he couldn't get in. I asked the bouncer if he could possibly talk to another bouncer or manager to get a second opinion, possibly someone else would recognize the older version. He refused. I asked him to scan the id but he refused. He was being such a dick. So we all had to relocate. So annoying.

I must admit, if this bar did not sponsor the recreational volleyball league I'm in... I would probably never venture in here.

Typical dive-bar atmosphere; however, the staff was so attentive and friendly. They also have set ups for beer pong and flip cup which is awesome. Finally, I will add that the nachos were above average and really tasty!

This is my favorite bar in Chicago. The staff has always been incredibly friendly to me, and even though I don't get back there as often as I might like anymore they still remember my name and always make me feel welcome. There's plenty of beer options and the mixed drinks aren't bad either (though I'll usually just go with a shot to accompany my beer). The food is excellent as well, awesome burgers and fantastic tots.

Watching sports here is a lot of fun- I'm a Packers fan and I feel right at home there during football season, even among Bears fans. They've installed a lot of good quality TVs all over the walls so you can see the game no matter where you look. They do fun events like tastings and karaoke and are part of some of the funnest bar crawls I've done. On weekends and certain nights it can get very loud and crowded, but one thing I really like about this place is that I can go in on a weeknight after work or early on a weekend day and I can drink in the perfect quiet. I had the pleasure of doing this while the staff was going through their pre-event check list for their shift that night and I was struck by how tight a ship they run there.

Go here, Eat, drink, be merry, root for the Packers (if you want). I highly recommend this place.
