Clark St. Beach

For this visit, I would award the bar no points, as they requested I not participate in an activity which is legal and not harmful. I inhale electronic cigarettes, which are legal and not harmful indoors (made of water vapor, of which I informed the bartender), and the bartender asked me to leave (ostensibly on the request of a patron nearby). When I had asked the particular customer she had referenced, the patron knew nothing of the mentioned request. Indeed, the bartender would not talk to me, and insisted on me speaking to her manager. I left, and I would never provide my patronage to such an undereducated and ridiculous bar as this one.

Never trust a bad rating from someone with one, and only one, Yelp review who joined the day he posted.

This place is fun as hell--for Packers games especially, it can't be beat. The beer selection and prices are decent, the bartenders are awesome and the food is good bar food. Highlights:
* Bloody mary bar during weekend afternoon games
* Totchos (ignore Ryan's review--they're awesome)
* Cap'n Crunch chicken tenders--yummy!
* Pabst tallboys (I'm a sucker for PBRs)

Eff you, Ryan R. EFF. YOU.

Don't come here.  Seriously, don't.  It is unbelievable how terrible both the food and service is.  

We got the fish tacos and they tasted like they took a tilapia, threw it in a grinder, and served it on a tortilla.  The scales of the fish were in the tacos.  Gross.  To make matters worse, it took them 45 MINUTES to get one of them out (and we had 3 people at the table!)  My girlfriend and her friend had to wait an additional 10 minutes for theirs to come out, despite us all ordering at the same time.  This also happened to the table next to us....

We also had the tater tot nachos, which the menu really builds up to be something fantastic.  These were not edible at all.  It was obviously cheese wiz that they used.  Absolutely disgusting.  Moving on...

Our server was also getting her a$$ grabbed and getting entirely too friendly with a guy at the bar.  Really?  The door guy was also SCREAMING and making obnoxious gestures during the football game.  I know this is a Wriggleyville bar, but the service and lack of management here was unlike any place I've ever been in my entire life.  I've never written a Yelp review before, but had to after this experience.  Skip Clark Street Beech.  I'll be surprised if it's open this time next year...
