Stopped by this club last Friday night, and it was my first time here. Â I would say don't judge a book by its' cover because from the outside, this place looks like a small hole in the wall bar. Â
I was almost correct, it is small and it has a bar, but I didn't expect to see the adjacent room packed with people dancing. To my surprise this place really is a club. For the size of this place, it gets packed really easy which causes lots of maneuvering and sliding past people just to get to and from the dance floor and the bar and back. The DJ played good music most of the night, it was good mix between TOP 40, Hip-Hop, and Pop music.
The crowd was rather mixed, from your regular joe, to a few questionables (no dress code by the way), and mostly  just regular Sacramento bar and club hoppers looking for a good time.
My biggest issue with this place was the bar, CASH ONLY!! How can you make any real money at a bar if you only take cash, and no I'm not using your sketchy ATM in the corner, but that's me.
Moral of this bar/club: bring cash, no dress-code, and be prepared to be cramped.
Oh Press. Â
You're a bit dim. Â Sometimes a bit too crowded. Â Sometimes (maybe always?) you reek of sweat and broken dreams. Â You only have one bathroom for the ladies. Â Your bar doesn't take card. Â
It's like I'm dating a guy with no car, no job, and not much ambition, but goddamn he makes me want to dance.
