I probably shouldn't even review this place, since we didn't eat there. Â My husband really wanted to try this place out, so we went there today. Â Walked through a sea of hipster 20-somethings outside. Â It was hot, so we went inside where there was another sea of hipster 20-somethings. Â There was a DJ spinning techno. Â It was 2:00 in the afternoon on a Sunday. Â Too loud, and we felt way too old to be there, so we left. Â The food might be good, and they are doing a good business, but if you're over thirty you might not feel comfortable here.
Review Source:Came here for after dinner drinks with some friends last Friday.
It's a seat yourself kind of place with tables both inside and out.
We got there right before the crowd hit. I saw a DJ setting up, didn't get to stay to see if the place turned into a full-blown dance floor or not.
The only kind of gruff I have with the place is that there were out of a lot of stuff. They didn't have any more Midori and I think 2 kinds of beer. And the waitress (although I think she was new, so I'm giving her some credit) didn't know what they did and did not have. They also charged me for the Midori I did not order and it took a while for it to get taken care of.
However, a plus for a full sized cran and vodka O_O.
Just tried the Sunday Brunch and it was fabulous! Â Celebrating a birthday, we had 6 people in our group and everyone loved what they ordered! Â I want to go back and try every brunch menu item! Â The eggs benedict seemed to be the big winner with the hollandaise sauce raved over. Â My only complaint was that my rye bread was not buttered. Â I am going back with co-workers today. Â I love the Colvelen Salad and duck fat fries. Â Try it!
