I probably shouldn't even review this place, since we didn't eat there. Â My husband really wanted to try this place out, so we went there today. Â Walked through a sea of hipster 20-somethings outside. Â It was hot, so we went inside where there was another sea of hipster 20-somethings. Â There was a DJ spinning techno. Â It was 2:00 in the afternoon on a Sunday. Â Too loud, and we felt way too old to be there, so we left. Â The food might be good, and they are doing a good business, but if you're over thirty you might not feel comfortable here.
Review Source:Came here for after dinner drinks with some friends last Friday.
It's a seat yourself kind of place with tables both inside and out.
We got there right before the crowd hit. I saw a DJ setting up, didn't get to stay to see if the place turned into a full-blown dance floor or not.
The only kind of gruff I have with the place is that there were out of a lot of stuff. They didn't have any more Midori and I think 2 kinds of beer. And the waitress (although I think she was new, so I'm giving her some credit) didn't know what they did and did not have. They also charged me for the Midori I did not order and it took a while for it to get taken care of.
However, a plus for a full sized cran and vodka O_O.
Just tried the Sunday Brunch and it was fabulous! Â Celebrating a birthday, we had 6 people in our group and everyone loved what they ordered! Â I want to go back and try every brunch menu item! Â The eggs benedict seemed to be the big winner with the hollandaise sauce raved over. Â My only complaint was that my rye bread was not buttered. Â I am going back with co-workers today. Â I love the Colvelen Salad and duck fat fries. Â Try it!
Review Source:Good Cheap food and decent Beer. Strange ordering system.. Sometimes there have waitresses, sometimes there isn't . They always leave two inches of head on the beer.. So when you finally get your drink its not even 80% full.. I have been here on three occasions, for some reason they always have a DJ blarring music.. One time it was not even noon and it was at full Volume.. I dont want a DJ at a German beer pub.. Very disappointed.. This place could have been a contender for a great meeting place for large amounts of  friends.. It doesnt seem to bother anyone else, the place is always packed, but I have a feeling that will end as the novelty wears off.  There is however a beautiful tatted out wait staff ;) Tho... So That gets it to three stars rather than two..
Review Source:Even though I loved Lounge on 20, LowBrau is a new staple in the J and 20th area. Â It doesn't need much explanation, I'd recommend just heading there and checking it out yourself, if you can find a spot of course. This place is always PACKED! Whether you think that's a good thing or not, LowBrau always has at least 20-30 people there throwing Das'Boots back.
And who doesn't like brats and duck fat? LowBrau for the win.
If you're looking for a great spot to hangout with a large group of friends with no obligation of tying a windsor knot, head down to LowBrau (earlier the better) and find a seat. Trendy, fun and simple food. Keep in mind that they require you to order from the bar once in a while depending on the staffing. I see some people complaining about service, perhaps they didn't get the memo.
My only recommendation would be to have a larger food selection (obviously German).
A must try if you're in Sacramento!
I'm a sucker for sausages and this is one of those places that has a lot of selection. Â Yes, I know you're paying for the ambiance and whatnot but if you've got the $$$, why not enjoy yourself (I was on company's credit card). Â Went there for lunch and although I definitely spent more than my usual for lunch, we ate the entire menu.... sausages, pretzels, duck fries... it was glorious. Â Â The only downside was that I don't drink so I couldn't "enjoy" all the offerings.
TL;DR - It's like a german beer garden with large selection of sausages.
I love this place. The location, the vibe, the food, it's all great. It's trendy, there are always cute hipster boys with fancy beards and tight pants. Michael Hargis is literally perfect and super friendly. The same will be said about Clay Nutting. Every time I have been here it has been a great time, with many people to look at. I have no complaints. I see people complaining about how long it takes to order a drink and etc. Well, no shit, you're at one of the most popular and most busy places in midtown, there's only a few bartenders behind the bar, and hundreds of swarming people trying to order a drink. Relax. It'll happen. If you don't want to wait, then take yourself to Alley Katz down the street. Anywho, Lowbrau is blessing for Midtown, Sacramento and I hope it will be around for many many years to come. :)
Review Source:This review is for dinner on a weeknight.
LowBrau is one of my favorite places to go after the 10 o'clock hour for some drinks with friends. However, my sister was in town and craving some schnitzel. As far as I know, LowBrau is one of the only restaurants in Sac that has it. So, we decided to check it out for dinner on a Monday night.
The atmosphere there is always nice and it's usually pretty packed. I was surprised to find that it was crowded even on a Monday night. Luckily, we snagged the last table outside, under the old-fashioned hanging string of lightbulbs. Nice.
Food was AWESOME. Between three of us, we ordered Schnitzel, Bratwurst, Wild Boar sausage, and Dirty Duck Fat Fries. Every single thing was delicious. I was sad that there wasn't more schnitzel on the plate, but it was categorized as a "Side". Plates average around $6 or $7, which is pretty good for what you get. And of course there was the beer. They have one of the largest and most unique (sometimes just plain weird... sausage-flavored?!) selections of beer in town. I ordered a coffee-flavored beer off tap and although I was worried it would get old after the first few sips, it was super tasty. I would definitely recommend it if you are a caffeine fiend such as myself.
The only negative comment (hence four stars instead of five) was the speed of the service. No one brought us menus and I had to go find some on another table. It took forever to get our orders taken and food delivered. However, our server was really friendly which kind of made up for it.
So I'd say definitely check it out for a casual dining experience with yummy beer. I'll write a separate review for the late-night scene next time.
Yep, tried it again, and yet AGAIN. Sat down, empty table/bench. Plenty of employees running around (that place was NOT that busy inside, outside was another story). Yet, after 15 minutes NOBODY had come by. No drink, no food, not even a glance.
Apparently my other posts didn't make an impact, so let me put it this way:
YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!! (this outweighs any trendy, great food, great beer that you may happen to have).
It's really not "that" hard. Plenty of busy places have order, have attentive servers, and don't leave their patron guessing if they'll ever drink or eat that evening. Why not just have the "Order at the Counter" thing all the time (not just for lunch). Azul does that and it freakin' works!
Secondly, WHY, oh WHY, are you allowing the smokers to invade the ENTIRE patio, RUINING it for the non-smokers still? Sorry, but blowing the smoke upwards does not dissipate it, and one should not have to pass through a cloud of second-hand smoke to enter the place. Split the damn patio in half. Smokers one side (I'm trying to be reasonable, if I had my way there would be NO smoking on the patio), and non-smokers on the other.
I was surprised to hear LoungeON20 was replaced by LowBrau. Â A good friend of mine said the food was good, so we stopped by Sunday for dinner. Â The place was poppin'! Â Didn't really expect this on a Sunday, but it was a great place to people watch.
I ordered the smoked chicken with caramelized onions and bier cheese sauce on the side. Â We also had the dirty duck fries and let's just say they were dirrrttttyyy and so delicious!
I liked the decor, community tables, and selection of beer.
In case you missed the previous gazillion reviews of Lowbrau, this place is LOUD. Â At least based on a recent SacBee article, the owners are hoping to find a solution soon by hiring acoustic consultants.
Since the official name is LowBrau Bierhall, you shouldn't be surprised if the dining tables are giant wooden bench tables resembling whatever image you have in mind of Oktoberfest in Germany or summer camp.
Arriving at 5:30pm, it wasn't crowded or noisy yet. Â But by 6:30, we literally had to shout at each other to have anyone in our party to hear. Â We even jokingly made very loud bird noises to see if anyone would notice. Â No one even turned around. Â If the weather is cooperating, the better bet is to sit outside on the patio where the noise is less.
Some of the previous reviews mentioned not knowing if you had to order at the bar or if a server would come by. Â At least during our visit, Kayla was our server and she was attentive to our party, especially when later arrivals appeared. Â She took our drink/food orders and a runner brought out our orders.
Beer: Lots of great options and they even had North Coast Old Rasputin on draught. 4 of the beers on draught were available in 1-liter glass steins. Â That's a serious amount of Lager, Hefe, or Pilsner to order.
Food: Â Bavarian Pretzels (baked by Freeport Bakery) with the bier cheese dipping sauce were given high marks by all. Â We ordered the Dirty Duck Fries (Garlic, Onion, Hot Peppers, Bier Cheese Sauce) when we probably should have gone with the "plain old" Duck Fat Fries. Â There were too many flavors overwhelming the Duck Fat Fries. Â Half of us ordered the Wild Boar (Boar, Sherry Wine, Sage). Â While it was good, it really didn't stand out. Â Maybe it's the liter and a half of beer, duck fries, and pretzels already competing for space in my stomach, but we all would have been fine with "just" beer, pretzels, plain duck fat fries.
Food: 3.5
P/C: 3
Service: 4
I happened to stop by here while my friends and I were bar hopping and I didn't realize that this place was called LowBrau. I knew LoungeON20 closed but I didn't know it reopened to LowBrau.
My experience here was short-lived, but enough to say that I miss LoungeON20. The atmosphere and the crowd in here is completely different than when it was LoungeON20, meaning anyone was welcome as opposed to only "classy" people seemed to be allowed when it was still LoungON20 (glad it's a more diverse place now). I wasn't too sure what I was going to order but I ended up with a beer. As I was sippin on that beer, I noticed there were what seemed to be park bench tables on the side to sit, hang out, eat, and check out people so I chilled there for a while and just took in the whole experience.
I don't exactly know what kinds of food they serve here, but it looks like hot dogs, pretzels, and maybe some chicken fingers?? Overall, since there's no cover and the ambiance is laid back, I would probably come back, especially since it didn't look like there were too many creepers, but a crazy amount of bros. Hahah! Other than that, nothing too special about this place from my experience.
Duck fat frites...hot...creamy...delicious, as good as any I have had in France. Â Biting into the bratwurst had that wonderful "snap", an indication of the real thing. Â And the bun was not your ordinary wonder bread experience...it was tender yet not mushy, not "bready" but with a wonderful texture. Â Great place, definitely a new fav.
Review Source:OK, why haven't they trained staff to pronounce the European beers already!??!!??!? Third time here and IT.WAS.SO. PAINFUL to hear two different servers mispronounce "Munchener".....jesus......she actually said "munCH en ner".....there's an umlaut over the "u", and the "ch" is soft, no hard CH.....(the Turn Verein is just a few short miles away in East Sac. Call to see if a German descendant who speaks, reads and writes can volunteer their time to teach staff) Â And, I know she meant to say, "I'd suggest this and this...." not "I'd request this and this"....
Also, get some roasted chicken and sauerkraut or cabbage salad on the menu already if you're trying to mimic the German beer halls. Duck fries are not a common staple in German beer halls.
The place reminds me of a mess hall. It's a loud/chill place where you try to find your own seat among the masses. The patio out front would be an ideal place to sit if you can find a spot.
Wild Boar Sausage- Sausages come with your choice of 2 toppings. I picked bier cheese sauce and sauerkraut. Good.
Duck Fat Fries- They didn't taste special. I like the dipping sauce that came with it, but when I asked an employee he didn't know what kind of sauce it was.
Dirty Duck Fries (Garlic, Onion, Hot Peppers, Bier Cheese Sauce)- It was more flavorful with the added ingredients but not really memorable either.
Some of my friends wanted to order the boot of beer, but there weren't enough glasses. They should invest in some more, especially being a German bar.
Lowbrau could be amazing if they just refined their act a little bit. Â The food and drinks are excellent, which is super important when you're seeking both of these items. Â Also, the space is beautiful, sparse and warehousey, but still very welcoming. Â
However, none of the above matters if the atmosphere is...unwelcoming. Â Stopping in for some post-church snackage, it was a mellow Sunday, around 1230 or so. Â However, in Lowbrau, it may as well have been Saturday night. Â The music was so loud that the tables and benches were vibrating. Â
Despite the noise, my daughter and I enjoyed some pretty good brats on pretzel rolls, and I was stunned by the amazing bar service (I seriously must have sampled 8 beers). Â I just wish we could have relaxed in the midst of all of it. Â While it can get spendy fast in here, the fact is that when I can't hear someone sitting at my table, it's not going to be a great meal. Â
Great for groups looking to party, not so much if you're in search of a good meal and some chill time.
Okay this update review is only for the blonde guy bartender at Lowbrau who always annoys the hell out of me with his horrible service. Â I wish I knew his name so I could put him on blast on here. Â Hopefully this makes him stand out. Â I've been at the bar more than a few times and have been completely ignored by this guy. Â It's really annoying and I hope this bar gets rid of him. Â He has a tendency to ignore any guy at the bar from what it looks like to me. Â
Last night was completely ridiculous my friend and I were at the bar and the other bartender who is awesome helps us and a little while later a guy sits next to us and is waiting and waiting for service while the bartender that helped us is on the other side of the bar servicing other customers. Â The blonde guy bartender who is working on our side helps the girl next to the guy sitting waiting for help and after helping that girl helps another girl next to the guy waiting forever. So the guy is patiently waiting not being rude or anything and a couple of other girls show up and the blonde bartender takes the order from them and doesnt take the order from him. Â Still ignoring him. Â Thats when my friend says HEY HE WANTS A DRINK and the blonde bartender says oh I was getting to him. Â Mind you my friend is a girl and she was pissed off for him. Â I was too but didn't say anything. Â
Hopefully they let this lame ass go!
I've been here a few times and have had mostly really good experiences... until a few Saturdays ago. My bf and I stopped early Saturday afternoon to grab a beer after visiting the Mid Town Farmers Market. We took a seat at the bar and waited for the bartender to take our order. And waited. And waited. And waited. I guess the bloody mary mix he was making right in front of us was just too important and he couldn't be interrupted to serve a few customers. We walked out and I haven't been back.
Review Source:This review has been sittin in my drafts for a few months. If thats any indication of what i think of this place, then...
This particular evening I had the Hofbrau dunkel -- 1 liter was 10 bucks. I mean, I'm not saying it was bad, I'm just saying I can go someplace else for a beer and pay less and have a better time (read: enjoying my beer without someone bumping into me or having to shout to my friend across the way)
For fare, I sampled the Bratwurst (on pretzel roll) for a whopping 6.50 (pork beef and spices w/ caramelized onions and bit peppers). It was decent, but nothing really out of this world.
Now for the layout of the place: think heavy crowds and lots of benches. I mean, are we in a mess hall? 'Cause that's what it felt like. Also, are we all deaf (and does speaking/turning up the volume make a deaf person any less deaf -- no).
Considering how many people visit this spot on any given evening you'll find that the restrooms are not proportional. You've got two stalls and one urinal in the men's bathroom...and maybe 200 people in the restaurant at once? It stresses me out.
I will commend this place for their outside seating. You feel very ethereal, if you will, sitting outside watching all the people walk by.......and staring. lol.
Low Brau is definitely an experience. I'd recommend at least trying it but be prepare yourself ahead of time!! Oh, and cut the staff some slack. They're busting their butts and working in dim lighting -- the horror!! Lol
I don't frequent the midtown-downtown area simply because I'm adverse to paying for parking on a regular basis. Preparing myself mentally for the inevitable circling, circling, circling for a parking spot during lunch hour, I was stunned when my friend pointed to an open spot - 50 yards from the entrance. Â In the shade. No parking meter. I know this has absolutely nothing to do with the establishment, but it took me several moments to wrap my head around it.
Anyway ...
It's a simply decorated, large, open-spaced area, with picnic tables for seating around the central bar. Â Sliding two of the tables side-by-side resulted in a large square table, which I appreciated, because it's a lot easier to visit with a group.
They offer the standard beer (bier) categories, cider, wine and house cocktails, such as "Hop Reviver" - Anchor Hop Head Vodka, Cocchi Americano Rosa, Bitters, Cointreau, lemon and lime Juice, Absinthe Wash. Prices range from $7 to $12 (Del Ducato Verdi Imperial Stout, which is stout brewed with chili peppers/8.2%).
They also offer "limited supply beers" which range from $12 to $20.
Food-wise, they offer fixings for meat lovers and vegans at reasonable prices. I had the smoked chicken sausage (roasted tomato and garlic) on a pretzel roll, which was too chewy for me. My friend enjoyed her schnitzel and potato salad.
Would I go back? Maybe for a beer tasting event.
I'm not particularly fond of encased meats, but my boyfriend is, so when I heard about this place, I felt it was my duty to tell him about it. Besides, I am a fan of any place with a decent beer selection and duck fat fries are supposed to be ah-maz-ing. After a beautiful Saturday of bike riding and errands, we decided to hit this place up in the late afternoon. I was STARVING and had earned a liter of beer.
First of all, this place is bigger than I thought it would be. As other reviewers have noted, it is loud, but not obscenely. It was second Saturday, and it was packed, but we got lucky and scored a couple of seats at the bar. The bartender noticed us right away and came over to help us immediately which is always appreciated.
I think they have a decent selection of beer, but my boyfriend (who knows his way around a beer menu better than I do) thinks they could do well to improve their selection. I always defer to him to order me something I'll like when I'm not familiar with beer names, and the beers I've tried here have all been good.
The food is pretty decent, but they mostly just have the brats and small bites. No schnitzel or anything like that.
We've come back a few times and the service is always good and I always myself here.
I dream about this place. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the menu is wonderful. I crave the bratwurst with beer cheese and caramelized onions on a pretzel bun. Their selection of interesting beers is exciting and while the inside atmosphere can get a little loud and overwhelming when they get crowded, the patio is a place I could spend my entire life. Â
The design of this restaurant is completely beautiful and I love the intentionality behind it. Even if you hate sausages and beer, just pop in to check out the cuckoo clock wall.
The Good:
Amazing, and I mean AMAZING sausage. Â The pretzel roll itself was work 6 bucks. Â Good selection of beer, and friendly staff.
The Meh:
Staff seemed overworked, and were probably short at least 2 servers. Â Ordering at the counter was a disaster. Â We ordered a diet coke, and were served two. Â Â Later noticed we were charged for it. Waitress then brought us two beers, and quickly ran off, which confused us. Â We sat there staring at the beers, wondering if we were really good looking enough to have strangers send us drinks. Â 5 minutes later, the waitress came back, and asked "Did you order beers?" Â "Uh, no." Â "Okay, well did you drink them?" Â "No." Â She then took away the beers which had helped our self esteem greatly, as we tried to mention that we were charged for a Coke that we didn't order. Â I scratched my head, and ate my food.
If you love good beer, and good food, step past the hoards of drunkards and get yourself over to LowBrau.
The crowd has been pretty lively a few of the times I've gone, but for me it doesn't deter from the fact that this place has a really cool concept and an excellent beer selection. Cafeteria-style seating, just like you're at Hofbrauhaus in Munich. They also have lots of European (and local) beers on tap, as well as an even wider array of bottled beers. This is perfect for me- the girl who's always looking for new things to try!
The duck fat fries are awesome, and they offer dipping sauces to match whatever you're craving. I like that their menu is simple...as a menu at a sausage place should be! I really like LowBrau, I think the fact that they've become so popular so fast is a double-edged sword, but even so I will continue to frequent them!
I don't drink beer (or any alcohol) so why would I want to go try dinner at a German beer house? The truth is I didn't want to go! But my friend is so fond of LowBrau I told him I would go anyways.
Turns out, I had a great time there for 4 reasons:
1. The outdoor seating is fun and social (communal picnic benches).
2. The service was excellent. Our server, Tiffany, was friendly, efficient, and fun.
3. I called ahead and asked about crowds and was honored and delighted that Clay reserved outdoor seating space for the two of us - that's classy! (They don't usually do that!)
4. My arugula salad was excellent! I hadn't had much faith that a place famous for sausage, fries and beer could muster a good sala, but they did! And since I am not a vegetarian, when Tiffany suggested I get a chicken sausage on the side, I did. And it was delicious.
I would give LowBrau a 5 star review, except that there was only 1 dessert available at that time: an oatmeal cookie with gelato. I need at least one chocolate offering.
Keep up the good work!
I don't know if this is my kind of crowd (actually I do know... it's not), but this is definitely my kind of place! This is soul food for Northern European descendants. Nothing lulls me into a swoon like house made charcuterie. Ground, seasoned pig parts, how I love thee... even more so with good beer.
My brother took me here for lunch one day and I actually had to go back the next day to have it again. This is what a good lunch spot is all about. Something simple, yet complex. House made sausages with perfectly thought-out condiments and garnishes. The herbed lightly sauteed onions are so good that I am bitter and jealous that I never thought of doing that. See what I mean? Simple, but complex. The sauerkraut is great too... oh, and the pretzel bun is mandatory.
Speaking of mandatory...
Finally! Someplace out side of SF and Chicago where you can get duck-fat fries! These fries are quite possibly... I do not say this lightly... the best french fries I have ever eaten in my fried-potato obsessed life. No! I saw you roll your eyes! Knock that off, I am not screwing around here! They are thick cut and super crispy on the outside, pillowy soft on the inside. It seems almost like an insult to put any of their excellent condiments (pimento aioli, please) on them. I said "almost". The curry ketchup is pretty damn amazing. Honestly, all those burger joints claiming to have the "Best Fries in the City/Country/Universe". They're all cheats and liars. The best fries are here.
Oh, and the chorizo-stuffed, bacon-wrapped jalapenos are friggin' deadly. Wait until last call for those. They'll drop you like a poleaxed steer.
So yeah, I'm tempted to dock a star for the annoying hipsters who come here to loudly complain about their sex lives after knocking back half a beer, but that's not the fault of the restaurant, so it's an easy five stars. Excellent local draft beer selection too.
Oh my gosh, their food is gooooooood! Â
I was here for a private event and they were kind enough to serve us some complimentary dogs, both meat and vegan. Â As well as all the accoutrements like a variety of mustards, sauerkraut, onions, and cheese sauce... Ohhhhh the cheese sauce... made of cheese, beer and spices according to the owner, Clay, we were lucky enough to meet that night.
I'm a meat eater, but I can appreciate a vegetarian meal and in fact enjoy making them. Â So it was my duty to try the vegan dog. Â It was surprisingly good! Â Of course, I added the cheese sauce to it after my first virgin taste, so it went from vegan to not-so-much in about 5 seconds flat. Â But as a lover of most things meat, I gave this a big thumbs up.
But the pièce de résistance for me was the self-serve water cooler.  Anyone that knows me, knows I have a bit of a drinking problem... I consume lots and lots and lots of water. I love water.  I would marry water if I could.  So the idea of being able to drink water when I want, and not have to wait for the poor wait staff to refill my glass over and over again is amazing.  I can get up and go fill my glass with nice cold water with a refreshing touch of cucumber, mint, and lemon whenever I want. Well done, Low Brau, well done!
Ehhh... It's a little difficult to get over the fact you are paying $7 for a sausage in a bun, but I will say it is tasty. If you aren't in the mood to hit up Morant's and grab a few links to grill up with your buddies on the patio, this place works. Â
There's a casual to flashy hipstery vibe here. Some DJ might be playing throwback tunes in the corner as well. They have a nice beer selection and the duck fat fries are really good. The bier cheese you can soak up your entire meal in is tasty as well, but don't overdo it. Also, their Italian vegan sausage is really good.
I'M SORRY I'M WRITING THIS IN CAPS, BUT THIS PLACE IS SO LOUD THAT UNLESS I SCREAM, YOU WON'T HEAR ME.
This place is great, but dear goodness-in-heaven, please get more staff! Â The ordering process is confusing - sometimes its all at the bar, other times its at tables.
The sausages are great. Â The vibe is fun.
This has become one of my go-to places in Midtown.
God I want to like this place. I really do. I came back when a friend happened to be DJing and I wanted to stay and hang out.
Sign says: Order at counter.
AGAIN, it switches while we're waiting. And again, the attitude. Different server, same remark, "Um, this is a server station now, you're gonna have to sit, like the sign says."
Me: "Well it said 'order at counter'...?"
Her: "We just changed it. Your waitress will be right with you."
Not wanting to get lost in the fray for 30 minutes again, I just walked to the bar to order a drink. It was steadily busy. We were promptly acknowledged (one star), with smiles, and given menus. I was ready instantly. Delerium Tremens on tap? Wow! I should've known from the $6 that it was not a pint (which I expected, but - 1 star for NOT LISTING THE SIZE OF YOUR POUR)
One of the bartender's friends came walking up after us. He was served a shot.
We waited.
And waited.
And waited.
Suddenly it was like the perfect storm occurred and two bartenders at once came to take our order! Awesome, but sheesh, another 20 minute wait for a beer?
Lowbrau, I want to like you. I really do.
But it's not me, it's you.
Another solid addition to the long list of Sacramento bars. I come here for the steins of German brews and get flashbacks to the old country. Though I was disappointed to find out that they only serve a few in this size, they do serve the Dunkel which has quickly become my go-to when ordering liters. The prices aren't great, but it is a good place to enjoy one or two good brews before going out and they have a large communal seating arrangement.
Definitely worth a stop in if you have not done so already. Good brews, nice crowd, and a big space.
Came back yesterday and it wasn't crowded (if it is and you don't know how it works or not with a large group, it's an unorganized mess and you will feel like leaving).
Had the bratwurst with cheddar sauce and thinly sliced onions. It was pretty good, but nothing too special. I however did like the pretzel bun, it was the highlight of the place for me. I suppose I would come back. Maybe I'll warm up to this place.
If you are looking for customer service, this place isn't for you.
