Cute place in historic Ellicott City! A bit small inside, but definitely worth staying to eat and drink! Service is great too- everyone is friendly!
Had their sangria, hummus, fish tacos, truffle fries and quinoa salad. Everything was fresh and delicious, and they are all served on small plates (tapas style) so you don't feel overly full and you can order a couple different things and share.
Definitely plan on going back!
Gotta say, based on reviews we must have hit a bad Sunday. Â Extremely self-interested staff, lots of chatter amongst themselves, and little caring or communicationwith customers which never numbered more than 8 at the winebar. Â Ordered flights of l/2 pours, and an app, and it took forever for that app. Â After a long wait, my daughter asked for a double check on the app, and that seemed to send off a bad vibe but it finally did come out. Â Ordered more wine and a couple more tapas. Â Ordered a third round of wine and more tapas, and then we sat and watched while lots of people got served, had animated conversation/customers and servers/but we never got our two additional tapas. Â Finally, our daughter said "I'll take our check" and they had never ordered our app at all and it wasn't on the bill. Â Gotta say, they weren't overloaded with customers when there are 9-10 people in the place and 3 servers, but they blew it and I know my daughter well enough to know she ain't gonna give em another chance to spoil her afternoon. Â The level of conversation amongst the staff included a blonde server telling another server how she earned her Bachelor's Degree and even though it was just an Associate it was really a BS. Â And a lot of other BS. Â There was no apology from anyone, and uncharacteristically, my daughter left a 10% tip--having been a server in other lives, she would never have done that but this was inexcusable service.
Review Source:Our favorite spot in Ellicott City. Don't even open the menu......get the fish tacos and an order of truffle fries. All the food is good but they literally have the best fish tacos around. Not a huge wine drinker but they have a rotation of beers in bottles and a good liquor selection. Staff is awesome.
