If you like old washed up whiners who have bad drunks and some retard named sweet jim, or ted or some crap like that this is the place.  Mediocre food and the warmest jager in town. Best thing about it is the bald guy bartending (he rules in this industry). Although i have not seen him lately.  Wonder what happend.....hmm.  Anyway, the female bartenders seem a little to pretentious for the hole they work at and one looks like a faker version of Madonna  (eww). Never to return unless I see the bald guy behind the bar. If this review says one star it only because i had to choose a star to post this   i give no stars.
Review Source:I hadn't been to Quackers to watch NFL football on a Sunday morning in a couple of years until last Sunday. Â Was glad to see they'd uncluttered the place and have all HD TVs now. Â That was nice, but paying $12 for a mediocre breakfast buffet was not. Â I could've gone to Hometown Buffet and gotten a much better selection and better quality food for the same price (maybe less). Â I know I'm paying for more than just the food when I sit there and watch football for three hours, but still.
Review Source:Q is turning into a pretty good sports bar, solid pub food and friendly staff. New owners are from Wetlands and the "feel" is similar, though smaller and less crowded. As other reviews have noted, Amy (part owner) and Adam learned their chops at  Wetlands, and work hard to make this place work.  Darts, one pool table, 10 screens to watch the games, an outdoor smoking area. Easy prices, apps half off Thursdays. Had a good time here (Ducks won!)
Review Source:Went there for breakfast, it was not good. My wife's french dip had brown gravy for au jus. My omelette came with a dinky under cooked hashbrown and 1 piece of wheat toast (I ordered white). The gravy tasted like paste, and the service was nonexistent. Â We showed up at 10:45 in the morning, and the server brought us the lunch menu. Â When we asked if they served breakfast, she said yes and a cook brought us a menu. Â I don't know if she was new or what? One of the worst breakfasts I've had in a while, won't be back.
Review Source:Quackers has been around for a long time, but if you haven't been there in the last few months, you haven't been there. New owners have changed it from top to bottom. The new menu is amazing and reasonable and they run great daily specials. Thursday's are half priced appetizers, so bring your friends and order several. The unbreaded, grilled, fresh, handmade bacon-wrapped jalapeño poppers are drool worthy and Friday's made from scratch chowder will bring you back next week. The place is now clean, bright and totally revamped, with comfy booths and big bay windows. We go on a particular night for the best service we've ever had anywhere (you rock, Adam!) but I've been for lunches and various evenings and I'm really pleased with all of the staff. So: Food and service are excellent, drinks are generous and reasonably priced (especially the nightly specials) and be sure to try the poppers, chowder, and anything with the new yummy garlic fries.
Review Source:OK, I'm not the kind of clientele Quackers is catering to, so my review is biased; I was invited there by some friends for a social function.
One of my friends and I both ordered a pint of Guinness. Â I was shocked they even serve this here. Â My pint had an inch high head on it. Â I asked for it to be topped off and the bartender obliged. Â But it was the worst tasting Guinness I have ever had. Â My friend actually returned his because of the off taste and, to the bartender's credit, he gave him another pint of some other beer for free. Â I just think not many people order a Guinness here so it's been sitting in the keg for, like, forever. Â Then again, the second pint I ordered, an Oakshire, had the bitter off taste of a bar that doesn't clean their lines very often. Â The pints were less expensive than any other bar I've been to in Eugene, but I guess you get what you pay for. Â
The service was also extremely slow. Â Two of the eight friends I was there with couldn't get anyone to bring them their checks. Â It wasn't even that busy. Â One of my friends didn't even get the food he ordered. Â He ended up just paying for the pitcher he received and left early. Â He didn't leave a tip.
On a positive note, there was a really great blues jam happening. Â The musicians were quite good, although it made it very hard to hear the person next to you talking. Â And there were several older couples dancing, which I think is very cool. Â Everyone was very friendly here, too. Â The bartenders were nice, the waitresses were nice and the people drinking beer next to us were cool, too. Â
I didn't eat anything, but one of my friends ordered a Cobb salad that looked extremely appetizing. Â She said it tasted VERY good, too. Â
This bar is more of a working class blue collar type place with lots of TVs, dart boards and video games. Â The beer selection is simple: lots of variations of pale yellow macrobrewed American rice lagers. Â
If you're looking for a nice relaxed place to catch several sports on multiple televisions, drink some Budweiser and take a chance at Keno, then this is the perfect place for you. Â If you're the kind of person who normally patronizes downtown bars with 15 microbrews on tap, then you should steer very clear of this place.
I love this place!! My girlfriends and I go almost every Friday for happy hour-Amy and Adam are AWESOME and they always have our drinks to us fast. Their jalapeno cheeseburgers are the best in Eugene. If you are tired of fries with your burger you should try their tater tots. Nice friendly atmosphere and a great place to come watch Duck football. :)
Review Source:Quack, quack, quack Mr. Ducksworth. Â Happy hour is legit. $1.50 pabst pounders during march madness. Boom goes the dynamite. Good fries. The rhode island sandwich will make you believe in love after love... and Cher. Pictures of Luke Ridnour on the wall looking 13 complete the ambiance. Rachel is the best bartender in the Eug. Dare to be great. Anything is possibleeeeeee!!!!
Review Source:Hmm. Â I've been to Quackers twice now for lunch, and it's pretty tasty. Â I'm trying to not convolute the rating of the restaurant with the fact that I'm just plain tired of burgers and bar food for lunch. Â Such is the culinary wasteland of West Eugene. Â I've had the blue cheese burger and the club sandwich -- each was delicious, but the best part is that they come with absolutely delicious fries. Â The service is friendly, and they've got a distracting array of big screens showing CNN and Speed. Â For as tasty as the lunch food is, there's hardly a crowd in at lunch. Â 10 people at the most. Â Come for the fries, Speed, and video poker; leave satisfied.
