Good, friendly and somewhat wierd service....Well put by another rater and I would agree. Â You can't put the finger on it but it really is. Â Shakes are GREAT. Â Fries were really pretty good. Â The rest is nothing to write home about. Â Not as good as the old Terry's from years ago when they were at 5th Street Market.
Review Source:Terry's is pretty mediocre, but then a lot of restaurants in Eugene-Springfield are. Â That said, how can you mess up burgers and fries? Â Both times I ate at Terry's, I felt like hurling in the parking lot as I left. Â On the other hand, the shakes and malts are really, really great (hence the averaged-out 2 stars) so maybe skip the food and stick with the fountain items. Â Good, friendly and somewhat weird service.
Review Source:I used to be a regular at Terry's Diner at the 5th Street Market before they closed years ago, and then happened upon Terry's on River Road, like, 25 years later and realized they are the same people. Now this Terry's has moved in on Chambers. Same great (in size and taste) malteds, same huge breakfasts with coffee cake, same selection of burgers, salads, fries and whatever. It's fairly priced, friendly, and decent. I especially like the option to substitute salmon in place of a beef burger. Decor is fake-50's and that's ok. I'd actually give it 3 1/2 stars, if I had a choice.
