Definitely not the best brunch in town. Without a doubt the highest priced brunch in Springfield. This has to be one of the most bizzaro world dinning experiences Springfield has to offer. Portions were small and lacking depth in flavor and texture. Any health conscience dinner who prefers egg white omelets should think twice before ordering as they are frowned upon being ordered as told to us by our waitress. Â Found coffee grounds in my coffee and asked no less than three times and was never given a fresh cup only a rushed waitress running by pouring more into my cup. Not sure if it was the owner or not but we had a short interaction with a taller, larger red haired woman who's level of condescension and general disregard for paying costumers was shocking sashaying through the cramped dinning room baby in tow....? The dishes were contrived and obvious giving a sense of artificiality. We had the soup and it was a watery, bland, salty disappointment. Omelets were overcooked and ingredients were texturally poor. Grilled cheese? OK this was truly laughable a sandwich that was at best four inches by five and the price for what was given????!!!! Â The bill was staggering considering from the service to the menu items were a total fail. The whole experience was a awkward, drawn out disappointment.
Also the side of our car had a huge scratch on it after we had finished, it may have been the area we had been in being its at 15th and Ash not the best place in Springfield.
The best brunch in town! High quality local ingredients + gifted chef (full disclosure- she's my sister, but it's still true) + extremely friendly staff. Â The unremarkable decor is more than compensated for by the food, which is very reasonably priced. Â (Back in NYC, we pay 4-5 times as much for a markedly inferior brunch).
