Denny's Restaurant

When you see the words "Sausage Slam" on a menu, what do you envision? My first thought was that I would get a disproportionately larger serving of sausage with my meal. Nope, just two sausage links. The rest was eggs, hash browns and two pancakes. I guess there definition of "slam" is a little different and you must read the fine print early in he morning.

Oh yeah, this Denny's has wifi but not for public access apparently. The password wasn't prominently posted anywhere. No fun at all.

Otherwise the service was great, but it was before six in the morning.

I decided to go there one night with my boyfriend and it was an utter disaster. First, the only 2 servers there looked like they had just rolled out of bed and dressed themselves in the dark. It just looked so unclean.

After the food was brought to the table, I noticed my boyfriends drink was completely empty. He had ordered the new Texican burger and when he asked the server how spicey it was, she specifically told him it was rather mild. After waiting over 10 minutes for our server, I just finally told him to take my drink. They were way understaffed and every time I made eye contact with the manager, he would look away rather quickly. Apparantly he thought if he just "pretended" he didn't see me, I would forget about what I needed.

In the end, we never recieved our bill and had to ask for it at the counter. WE HAD TO WAIT TO PAY!! One of the servers that worked that night stood by the counter and simply ignored my boyfriend and I for about 5 minutes before she finally decided to let us pay for our dinner.

That will be the last time I dine there and my advice to others: stay away!!
