Best mofo pizza in town! Thin crust style. Word.

I've had pizza from Gabatonis' since I was  probably old enough to eat pizza. The inside of this place is straight out of the 70's when they opened and manage to cram as many tables as possible in here. This place is always dimly lit and the staff, well I don't think I've ever seen a waitress under 45 here, but that is just part of the charm. The pizza is thin crust and cooked just right, they also serve a multitude of other items, but if you come here you have to get the pizza.

My family and I ate here during our Midwest road trip this summer... I never would have stopped and gone in because of the no windows, odd exterior except the Yelp reviews were good.  But the tomato garlic pizza was delicious, as was the garlic cheese bread.  And the service was much better than I'd expected.  Very family friendly in the non-bar part.  We'd go again next time we're in Springfield.
