Service was great, food was great, drinks were great - overall a very good experience.
We did come on an off night (Monday) and we did seem to beat the dinner crowd since we got there around 6:30, but even when things got busier our waiter was very attentive.
My girlfriend loved the Caesar salad and she has pretty high standards for Caesar salads, so I was glad to hear she really enjoyed this one. The pizza was really good, wood fire pizza is legit. I agree with some reviews that the pizza was a bit underdone but fortunately I don't like my pizza crispy or well done. One of them did get a bit of a burn to it but it tasted perfectly fine. I thought everything was perfect, I'd come back.
Nothing special about Red Tomato. The atmosphere was unique for a pizza place, but the actual food left much to be desired.
My boyfriend and I had seen a special documenting Red Tomato online a few weeks ago. When we saw a Groupon for it, we saw it as our opportunity to check it out.
Our deal included:
A pitcher of sangria
1 Caesar Salad
Choice of pizza pie
Choice of dessert
The pitcher of sangria was ok. Tasted more like juice than wine. But it was drinkable.
The Ceasar salad tasted like it was poured right out of a bag with some tomatoes added. The dressing was on the side without us asking. Clearly they did not want to put the extra effort in.
For our pie, we ordered the Regina  (Tomatoes, Buffalo mozzarella, basil, extra virgin olive oil) and an additional pie, the Tartufo (Prosciutto, mushrooms, mozzarella, truffle oil).
There was nothing special about either pie. The bottom of the crusts seemed to be under baked.
We ended with the nutella pizza topped with marshmallows. It was good, but nutella makes anything tasty.
Not worth traveling here for mediocre pizza.
