Okay...so I see the other reviews and think they must be family members. We stopped to celebrate Renee's longevity in this hard to get into location off McGregor and we were not impressed. If I wanted cold, unmelted cheese and meat on pre-bagged loaf style bread I would have gone to a 7Eleven and paid a lot less. But I think the real deal breaker for us was the crumb sized chips we had as our side to our brutally tasteless sandwiches. I'm sure they won't close their doors from this review but I had to voice in for those of us who are not regulars or related. As a side note we also tried the Sunday Brunch at their other location and it was a good thing they served Bloody Mary's & Mimosa's because we needed something to take away from the dry ham and over salted Buffet dishes...but it is right in front of a large retirement community so that is in their favor.
Review Source:Renees has been in business for 25 years for a reason! They serve great, fresh food and the service is excellent! They have indoor and outdoor seating and a menu with lots of options. They hve daily specials that are usually excellent. I've tried the hummus wrap and veggie pita with horseradish - both awesome. The waitstaff is so nice! They even brought out dog treats and water for our puppy when we sat outside for lunch. Highly recommend this place to anyone!
Review Source:This is a nice sandwich and salad shop. It isn't fancy and there is room for improvement, but overall a fast, tasty lunch experience. The french dip looked very good as did a grilled chicken topped salad, but my roast beef was just OK and I would not order the lemonade again. Service was good and the prices were right.
