Stopped in here on a whim in-between meetings today and hit their happy hour. I had a glass of Cab, chicken Caesar salad and some sweet/spicy chicken strips. It was ok. Just ok. The service was pretty good though. Bar atmosphere was eh... I guess that's what you get when you are just having happy hour. Â I guess I would try having a real dinner with a view next time - sounds like its nice on the other side.
Review Source:Came here w/ family that were staying in the adjacent hotel. Service was slow. Â The restaurant was less than 1/3 full so, was no reason for the kitchen to take 20+ minutes on omelettes & cold home fries. Staff were slow to observe most table needs (coffee refills, water in lieu of other drinks). Â Lastly the food was on par w/ your average diner menu - Something for most, though forgettable. Â At least at a diner, you'd get your drinks, breakfast, refills, leftovers wrapped in less than 30 minutes, not 60+.
Review Source:There has to be a better place to eat in Oregon City. Â We'd been driving all day and checked in to the adjoining Best Western (where the wireless doesn't work, by the way). Â The girl at the front desk recommended the restaurant. Â We checked it out. Â The view from the patio deck is beautiful and the ambience is nice, but the service and food leave a lot to be desired. Â Steamed clams to start were perfectly prepared, but all downhill from there. Â My wife and I got the worst prime rib of our lives -- overdone and dry as a bone. Â For the money you're going to spend here, you're better off driving into Portland proper and having a far better meal.
Review Source:Very overpriced for what you get and the food isn't that good. Â Yes the view is fun, and we enjoyed sitting outside, but its not worth it. Â The burgers were mediocre and one of our parties meatloaf and gravy made her sick to her stomach the next day. Â Avoid this place at all costs.
Review Source:FIne...it has a good view of the river...fine that the service is usually good but the quality of the food is just not very good! It is just OK. The pricing is on the high side too. The place does not have a good "Feel" to it on the inside as the decor is, well kinda gross. Sorry but they need to do much better than this to get people to go back.

We Stayed at the Hotel and didn't think we would have any luck with the Food (I mean come on food at the hotel?) But wow Great food, and it didn't cost an arm and a leg. Â A huge Plus was Entertainment. Â Tired after a day in meetings we dropped into the Bar and Grille to have a drink, and found that a Young woman (Shannon I think) was doing a Variety Karaoke show! Â Totally different that any Lame Karaoke show I had been to. Â This was good,, I even sang... Â I guess they also have a 80's Theme Variety show on Saturdays... Â All in all if I want to have fun in Oregon City that is where I will be!
