Edited to Add: Â Riverstone has changed owners, it is now called the Urban Beer Garden. And it's still a great place.
Riverstone has to be one of Morgantown's best kept secrets.
Quiet, classy, great low-key lighting, nice selection of beers. Their side tables are made from chunks of old slate pool tables and are just way cool.
I have heard that Riverstone does have live music at times, which must be great since they have such a good atmosphere.
But I like it best as a place to get away from the loud bars and have a reasonably-priced pint and nice quiet converstion with whoever I'm with.
This is a classy, romantic, yet not expensive place to have a pint or a glass of wine, whether you are just there by yourself to unwind, or with friends or a date.
oh, p.s There is a soft black couch and soft chairs too to hang out on. Very private and quiet!
When I lived in Morgantown this place was like my second living room.  The Riverstone has one of the larger selections of beer in town.  There is  typically a solid linup of bartenders and the crowd is friendly.
The inside of the bar will surprise you. Â They've definitly made some changes since they first opened. Â You can't really tell from the outside but it's a classy looking joint inside. Â I remember someone saying that the high tops are made from old pool table slates.
I really wish they had better daily specials here...but when you're in Morgantown things are pretty cheap anyway so I'm not complaining (too much).
