It has to be mentioned... This restaurant does not serve Mexican food.
Yes, it's Mexican "style" but the disparity between what Mexican people are eating on State Street, Columbus and the "Blancos" happily munching away here is enormous.
Besides the above stated fact, for my palate, the food is poorly prepared.
But having said that, I can see why the local "Blancos" like eating here.
Although... They do not even have Salsa Verde, the "ketchup" of Mexico.
Nuff said.
Typical Americanized "Mexican" food. Â Slop it on a plate and shove it under a broiler and serve to the guest. Â I've been to Mexico 7 times and this is not authentic Mexican food. Â It is all pre-fabbed and is mediocre at best. Â If you are in a hurry and like Americanized "Mexican" food and margaritas made from an off the shelf mix it is fine. Â But if you want authentic Mexican food go to Sabor De La Vida.
Review Source:Hands down, the best Mexican joint I've experienced thus far. Â The margaritas are good both frozen and on the rocks and great prices! Â Tons of vegetarian options and the spicy salsa we asked for and added to the salsa they originally brought us made it just absolutely amazing! Â The veggie quesadillas were stuffed full and for $6.75 with rice and beans!? Â Great price!!! Â I can't wait to go again! Â The wait staff was quirky and friendly and on top of everything. Â Inside of the restaurant is quite the experience itself. Â Beautiful place.
