Clam pie - outstanding!  Spinach salad - outstanding!  Wine list - good selection/ range of prices - love the Antinori Santa Cristina.  Eggplant rollatini - just ok (sorry!).  Great service!  A lovely evening!

Have been here 3 times in last 6 months.  Happen to love their pizza!!  Haven't tried any other dishes except the antipasto salad for 2 which was fresh and tasty but very unimaginatively served all piled up in a bowl.  Unless you like noise, always ask to sit in the dining room to the left of the main entrance.  The only problem with sitting there is that sometimes they forget about you if the bar dining room is busy and full.  They don't seem to anticipate how many servers to have on duty especially early in the week.  Despite the uneven service, I would still recommend this place for unique and generous pizzas!!

Nothing special. The building is far superior to the food. Was here for a baby shower. Regular shower food options. Amount on plates were not consistent or plentiful. Penne vodka was horrible and dry. Save your money. Much better food nearby.

Best thing about this place is the outside. I ordered baby back ribs,it tasted like it was prepared by boiling and douceing  with cheep sauce .  Service was to the point of obnoxious .  When the bill came I explained to the waitress that the meal was taken back uneaton and I should not be charged. The waitress stated the manager said no. We paid our bill for two hundred and sixty dollars and left, never to return.  This place is just short of fast food.

I have been there twice now. Both times the service was very good. The first time I got the mushroom risotto... It was ok. Not exactly how risotto is supposed to be cooked. Others I went with got fish, burger and a hero. The burger and fries were very good. No complaints on the other meals either. The second time I went I had the cheese pizza - the friend I went with has a limited palate. It was pretty standard... Good but nothing special. The table next to us got sausage pizza and it looked awesome. I liked the atmosphere and the bar area is pretty nice. I'd go back because it is so close to my house.

While there were some appealing dishes on the regular menu, I generally opt for a special.  I was with 8 people so the dishes were many and pretty varied.  We started with roadhouse shrimp, which was delicious.  We ordered a couple of small pies.  One was the brainchild of another at the table and the waitstaff had no problem going off the menu.  A far as entrees go, the lasagna (a special) and Delmonico steak were out of this world.  A was curious when one of our party ordered a burger, but they are somewhat regular and raved about them.  The decor and white table cloth feel at a little out of place for what looks like a neighborhood joint, as did the prices, but overall a real good experience.

I give service a 5. Our server was attentive but not pushy. He let us stay at our table after the bill was paid so we can finish our drinks.(it was reflected in his 20% tip)
Food gets a 1.5. The calamari was beyond bland ( salt please during cooking helps). Button mushrooms out of a green giant can should not be on my pizza or her chicken marsala.Salt, oregano, paprika, pepper, basil, garlic, these are seasonings used in cooking. I want to like this place, but other than the friendly people and clean set-up, you're not setting yourselves apart with the food.

When I opened the door, I just assumed someone was going to break a pool stick over my back. Sorry Road House, you set yourself up for a lifetime of Swayze references. This Road House is quite the opposite of Swayze's Road House. It's fancy.

What you must know about this Road House:

Dining room to the left, another dining room to the right with a bar, and a mystery staircase that leads upstairs. Maybe it leads to the room where Oompa Loompas make nougat. I have no idea.

    Happy Hour (BAR ONLY)
    Monday - Friday
    4 to 7 PM
Half Off Drinks and Free Pizza
    Only three taps.

The Road House Burger is a steal for $7.50 (Includes cheese, bacon, and fries). Has all the flavors of a backyard BBQ, with the option to wipe the burger juices off your face with a white cloth napkin. (Probably the only Italian Restaurant I will ever buy a burger at.)

If you want pizza, order the CLAM PIE.

AND THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO KNOW ABOUT THE ROAD HOUSE...

The room with the bar needs a serious make-over. It's a great open space, but there is no division between the fine diners and the happy hour fueled bar crowd.
Worlds are colliding. To make matters worse, there's not a lot of space around the bar for large crowds. People who want to enjoy happy hour can not sit at the tables near the bar, which are generally empty any way, BECAUSE, no one really wants butt in their face for an entire meal.

Something needs to me done. Add bar tables. Add a water fountain with a koi pond to separate the areas. DO SOMETHING. Until then, patrons should secure a happy hour spot at 3:55 PM.

We ordered the Fried Calamari and Arugula Salad to share. For main entry we had Ravioli, Pork Loin, Escarole and Beans, and Wild Mushroom Risotto. We finished the meal with Capaccino, Italian Cheese Cake and Tartufo. The Arugula Salad was very good, and the Fried Calamari was ok. The Escarole & Beans were excellent, the wild mushroom risotto was a little bit on the salty side but still very good. The dessert was ok, and the coffee was alright, mainly because they were merely luke warm. Overall I like the experience, nice little place with decent price, would come back again.

I keep thinking of the Family Guy episode when Peter thinks he's Patrick Swayze....but i digress.

My friend brought me here for dinner tonight, you would never even know it existed because there is no sign outside and it looks like a house.

When you enter it looks like a lounge that would be inside a hotel, it's a strange setup but it works!

You get free bread, crackers and bread sticks to start along with a couple of pieces of brushetta...good start!

I had some fried calamari as a shared appetizer and something called "Road House Shrimp' which was absolutely amazing and involved sauteed shrimp with peppers in a tangy sauce.

I had an eggplant parm hero as an entree which was huge and very tasty.

There is a full bar and a few TV's with games on, while the waitress was kind and attentive.

I really enjoyed my time here, if you are ever on Clove Road look out for this place it's worth a visit.

Pizza and very basic orders took over 45 minutes to come out.  Waiter was not at all apologetic, responsive, or attentive.  Marinara sauce on ravioli was lukewarm.  Pizza alright, but mediocre for the neighborhood.  Chicken Marsala consisted of small, poor quality medallions in flavorless sauce overwhelmed by butter and salt, accompanied by overcooked asparagus and no pasta on the side.

Has a liquor license, so no BYOB, but bottled beer only -- nothing on draft.

The manager was responsive to our complaints and the fresh breadbasket was hot and good, but that's about it for the positives.
