Roosters Sports Bar & Grill

I stopped in a few weeks ago. When I was there, they seemed to be off to a good start. Darts upstairs, a giant TV spanning both floors, and a certain kitsch factor from a set of bowling pins on the second floor integrated with the railing. It has a hip loft atmosphere, with exposed brick and a spiral staircase. I only had one drink, but the wait staff seemed friendly and service was quick. My only complaint is that the beer was served in a plastic cup. I plan to stop in the next time I'm in the Quad Cities.

The food was sub par, the service worse. The mixed drinks were more ice and fruit juice than liquor. Don't let these guys fool you, I've been there once every other week since they opened and the service has been terrible. I timed how long to get the waitress to notice our drinks were empty, 10 customers in the bar, two waitresses and a bartender. 7 minutes. Not worth your time unless they restaff.

I'm a huge supporter of local business, but this just hasn't lived up to my standards.
