Sal's Famous Pizzeria

This place has gone down hill!  We have been regulars - at least once a week - and will no longer go back.  Food is nothing great - pasta from the freezer, no flavor in anything.  Pizza is horrible - soggy crust, undercooked (cheese not melted), and the tiramisu is NEVER fresh.  Not worth the money you will waste!!

The new wood fire oven makes the pizza magnifico!  The spinach and cheese roll is great. Great Italian food at a reasonable price structure.

This review may seem harsh but c'mon Sal !  Went there over the weekend:

- Bread served now is mush, like wonder bread
- Calamari has been changed to the frozen 'rings'
- Glass of house wine is $5.50, contrast to 75 cents a glass wholesale
- My bread plate had 4, count 'em, 4 chips out of it.  One chip means throw it out because it cannot be sterilized.
- If you want a booth as we did, and they have the back booths closed off, or if a booth isn't up next in their server rotation, they will not give you an effing booth.
- As others mentioned the food is bland and the kitchen can be amazingly slow.
