I still have a blank stare about this place. Went with friends it was actually cheaper than most of the other hibachi grills. The waitress was nice & attentive. Food was okay personally I'd rather pay more & go somewhere else. Now for the blank stare. As we were leaving & other customers were still there. One of the employees was treating one of the hibachi grills with a raid pump. Not spray but the type that you physically have to pump.
Review Source:I had lunch for the first time at Sapporo a few weeks ago with a friend. I was surprised to walk in and see the giant pool of koi swimming around- walking over the little bridge was pretty cool.
I consider myself somewhat of a sushi snob. I typically have one restaurant that I go to, and compare all other sushi to this place. So I was more than pleasantly surprised to see such a wide variety of sushi rolls to choose from. BIG suggestion: Order the Sun Roll. It's not listed on the menu (not sure why) but my friend told me about it, and I only wish I had ordered more! (You can write Sun Roll on the top of your menu- do it)
The sushi was fresh, full of flavor and beautifully arranged. The worst part was when I was down to my last pieces- I didn't want it to end!
This, to me, is the best sushi place in Indy....and believe me, I have tried them all. Â The fish is ALWAYS fresh, the roll selection is amazing, the roles are HUGE and the sushi chef is great! Â I sit at the sushi bar every time and I can tell that the sushi chef's take a lot of pride in putting out great food. Â I am what some would call a "regular" here and I am always warmly greeted and my drink is served to me without even ordering it. Â The prices here are really low in compassion to other local sushi bars which is great! Â Every time I leave this place I am completely satisfied and completely full.
