We went there on a whim yesterday and were overall quite impressed.
1. The food was pretty good. Â Both the original BBQ sauce and the Fiery BBQ sauce were wonderful. Â The fiery sauce had just enough kick but still retained the sweetness a BBQ sauce should have. Â The baked beans were spectacular. Â The mac n cheese, unfortunately, was not the greatest, but given that the main foods they served were awesome, that's really not a problem.
2. They give a lot of food for a decent price. Â I got a huge riblet plate with two sides that only cost me 10 bucks. Â I couldn't even finish the food.
3. The atmosphere was very welcoming. Â For the most part, everyone was super friendly. Â We went on a sunday, which happened to coincide with the Colt's game. Â If you are a Colts fan, this is a great bar to watch the game. Â They had the game up on a projector size tv, plus on all the other tvs around. Â They were in the spirit of the game and handed out shots everytime the Colts scored. Â It was a lot of fun.
For those of you who like eating contests, they have a Wall-of-Fame where if you consume 5 lbs of beef (Big Daddy Platter) you will be on the wall of fame....and the platter is only 20 bucks.. again not a bad deal!
We will definitely be back here again!
