Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

date night with the wife was a pretty good meal

We had a really good trip here, however we found it all depends on the waiter/ waitress you get. about 1/10 of their servers are good, however if you get the 9/10 you will be in for a poor meal. It's an interesting restaurant probably one of the only ones I have never seen a manager at after all the times I have been here.

Terrible excuse for Italian food.  Bland sauces, overcooked seafood, and boring salad.  

I cater lunches for work, and from time to time they request Olive Garden.  This is always a dreaded day for me, but I have tried a multitude of their dishes.  I have yet to taste one that I would even describe as okay.  I guess it is what it is...just another chain restaurant that pleases the typical American underdeveloped palette.  I'll pass.  

There is much, much better Italian food in Indianapolis, although that wouldn't take much.

Drive on down the street to Sangiovese or Maggiano's...it is worth the few extra $$.
