Champs - maybe Chumps!
The waitress came up to me very quickly which was great, but I barely had time to look at the menu when she would pop up again. She didn't have a good pace for our pace, if you know what I mean!
The one silver lining is that we came on Tuesday which is kids night and even though I ordered just one adult meal I got two kids meals for free. The 22 oz. Coors beer special for $4 tasted stale and all I got with my $10 buffalo chicken sandwich was waffle fries. If I hadn't of got the free kids meals then this rating would be even lower - maybe a one star.
I also came on a Living Social deal and she acted like I was giving her rabies or something when I handed it to her. I won't go back unless I have a free coupon or something.
I am a super snob when it comes to food in this town. I try to avoid major chain restaurants unless I am just there to get wasted or meeting friends. Â And, in this instance, I was meeting friends, so I didn't have a choice (or an opinion I was willing to share openly when the choice was made). Â First off, this place was D-E-A-D on a Friday night. That should have been a flag from the get-go, but we thought we would get rock out service since there were few other patrons.
Wrong.
Unfortunately our server was lackluster and bored. He was around the area often enough but rarely was worried about us. Â There were about 10 of us...and we all ordered apps, liquor and entrees, but he didn't seem to care much about refills, additional beverages or ensuring our food didn't suck.
I got the gyro and it was a mistake. Â Nasty and tasteless. My friend got the pasta which looked inedible and indicated the same as she barely touched it. Â My "recommended" lemonade beverage with Patron was so sweet and alcohol-less that it was definitely not worth the price-tag.
Overall, a very underwhelming experience. Â There was some entertainment on the patio but there was literally NO ONE out there. Â Super exciting on a Friday night - eye roll.
It reiterates the reason I don't go to these types of restaurants very often. There needs to be something SUPER fabulous on the menu that one cannot pass up or entertainment to die for. Â This establishment has neither and doesn't strive to care in the near future.
Spend your money elsewhere.
When you are seating in the patio section, be prepared for poor service. Â Although we had a large group attending, the servers should be the one handing out the plates and drinks to the table and not individuals at the table. Â If there is not enough space to move around to serve, then the restaurant needs to remove tables and seats.
I ordered the walnut chicken entree. Â The sauce was an overflow -- literally. Â My string onion rings were not Tabasco hot which was good. Â I substituted the garlic mashed potatoes for broccoli which I did not seem to have much. Â The seasoned vegetable were fine. Â I was not expected 3 portions of chicken, but I guess that is why my meal cost about $15.
Food good but too saucy and spread everywhere. Â Serve -- I am not fond of.
