The Sunday Brunch is fantastic.   Went Friday night with a group of friends and came back today.   Impressed both times and will be back.

Savour is definitely worth it. It's not huge so it maybe tough to get a seat.  Suggest calling ahead.  The food is unique but good (try the tuna nachos). Service has been great every time.

It's a great place for a late beverage and some tapas over a conversation. The food was great and the drinks did not disappoint. I actually left my phone here and the staff was very honest in holding it and returning it. My friend and I ordered a bunch of appetizers and they were all amazing. Great area near other restaurants and shopping :)

Went to Savour for brunch and it was OK. Nice setting, the staff is very friendly and nice. The only thing is that the meats served on the buffet were bland, Guacamole was canned, and the breakfast selections were very few. However, the $2 mimosas, or bottomless for $10 helped alleviate the disappointment. Plus there was live easy listening music. Overall good value for what you get. I'll definitely stop by again.

Really like the quality and uniqueness of food here. The drinks are tasty and they do not skimp on the liquor (which I like but be careful). Atmosphere is great as well, I'd come here early for happy hour and to avoid any crowds. Prices are reasonable.

i have been to savour three times since february.
this place is great and if you something is not so great let management know.
they do really try their best to accommodate.

our first experience began poorly, but was great after the poor start.
they do not take reservations, but we were told the time we were coming would be no problem.
we arrived at the area and browsed around the shops expecting there would be no wait as we were led to believe.
we had to wait, if i recall correctly, about 40 minutes or more and i voiced my displeasure.
the owner, jessie, came over and expressed her apologies and chatted a bit.
she is a very personable young lady.
she also got us a couple of drinks.

our waitress, Mikaela, was absolute wonderful and very attentive.
we had a groupon for 4 small dishes, 4 entree dishes and 2 desserts.
she was mature and well trained as a waitress - well beyond her 18 years.
she recommended various dishes to use and took the time to discuss the options.
each and every one of the 10 items was absolutely delicious.
right then and there we decide we'd be back again.

returned to the place for their fat tuesday/mardi gras party.
met ernie, the other owner, while there.
he is just as nice as his wife jessie.
again, the food and drink were superb.
tuesday's are also 1/2 price burgers and salads - a good time to go.
there was also a large assortment of $5 martinis.
made a third trip last sunday for the brunch buffet.
as a prior poster mentioned, it was not very busy, but then again, we were there for the food.
we were quite pleased with the food.
it was not an exceptionally large selection, but everything we so well prepared and tasty.
could have used a small dessert/pastry section though.
they did have sweet crepes and french toast.

    will be go back again???
    you betcha !!!

I am sorry to say that although this was my favorite restaurant in the past, the service my husband and I had last Sat night 2/2/13 was terrible! Our waitress (Server 4005 Michaeyl on our receipt)  did not check on us even ONCE during the entire meal, no drink refills, no checking, no service. The only person who was courteous to us was our usher. It was a blatant disregard of your paying customers and we won't be recommending this place. I am inclined to bring this to your attention.

So I'm going with 4 stars on my update. Savour tasting room invited us back after our horrible experience and did an outstanding job on round 2. I was really hesitant about going back but I figured why not do a nice brunch with a couple of friends for my hubby's bday. We were given a nice big round booth and the manager, Erik, went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed. There was a new waitress that was also very professional and attentive to us. The buffet was delicious. Everything on it tasted great and they had some new menu items as well including made to order chile rellano and homemade tortillas. We also had dessert which was great! The fried oreos are sinfully good. The four stars is only because we were still missing serveware on the buffet and I really think they could use an omelet station or some waffles being made to order. The music was toned down this time. No horrible pop club music this time. Savour changed my mind with the return visit and I now will recommend them to friends without hesitation.

Update as of 1/31/13- A manager or representative of Savour has reached out to me and apologized for the service.  We will try going to to the Dallas location and try to give the business another try.  I appreciate the contact from the restaurant and am changing my rating to 3 stars as the apology makes me hope this was a bad night for the waiter and not a representation of the business.

I'm sadly giving this one stars and would not go back.
The food was excellent, we had a groupon for 4 shared plates, 4 specialties, and 2 desserts.  We took another copuple and were excited for a fun foodie night.  I advised the waiter early of the groupon since we were ordering so much food.  That very obviously shut him down, and he made up his mind that we weren't worth the effort.  He tried to upsell my wife on the bottle of Malbec she had ordered, when she advised she would stick with the one she selected, he said, "Oh, because of the price point."  Ummm, actually it's because we've had it multiple times and enjoy it jerk, bad move to try and call your guests out for what you think is being cheap.  When he delivered our waters he spilled a good amount on the table for the other guy with us, when we asked for some napkins to clean it up, the waiter walked off, and never brought back napkins.  The fish taco's were too spicy for our friend with us, he took one bite and was coughing and advised the waiter they were way too hot.  The waiter laughed and never offered to replace it with something else, just asked if we wanted a box for it.  Our friend only took one bite of his entire entree and no one offered to do anythign about it.
We still tipped about 18% of what the original bill woudl have been without the groupon, so hopefully the waiter will realize just because you have a groupon doesn't mean you deserve bad service.
The food is great, but I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, and I will not be going back.
Oh, just remember, they had a singer and guitar player playing really slow bad versions of Bon Jovi and other songs, it was pretty apparent no one was interested in them, being a band I'm usually always for live music but it was a bummer and way too loud.

This place gets 5 stars from me. MUST get the tuna nachos and any pizza! Seriously, best tuna nachos I've had. The service was great, even with a Holiday Party consuming the place. The drink list is creative and tasty, and there's no shortage on alcohol. I could not wait to go back before we had even left the place!

My sweetie and I first came here on a Groupon and have since been back several times.  We have tried almost all of the Tapas and apps and everything is always excellent.  The service is always prompt.  As another reviewer mentioned, our check has been wrong so make sure you watch it.  Other than that, I have no complaints and would recommend.

I really like the food. There are some great unique plates like the duck quesadilla, which sounds awful, but actually quite good and you don't have the dark gamey taste of duck. The pork shank falls off the bone. The shrimp pizza is so flavorful. We have been here 7 times now and found some favorites.

BUT, what knocks this down to 1 star is the way they consistently get the checks wrong. We went there one of the times on a Groupon and knew we would pay for the kids' meal separately because the Groupon didn't include the kids' meals. The kids' menu clearly says "Drinks Included" so we order chocolate milk. After our check arrived, they had charged us $5.50 for the milk. When we questioned it, they said they would take it off this time, so when the bill came, the server did indeed take off the milk, BUT she also reduced our Groupon by the same amount. Another time, I had one more Groupon, and the Groupon allowed up to certain amount for each plate. We knew we had a couple of plates that would cost us extra so we expected it, but the server didn't take off the correct amount so we had an extra $4 tacked onto the bill. Another time, we went and paid on our own and they charged us for an extra plate.

What makes it worse is that I wrote them an email about our experience and never heard a thing from them.

You can have great food, but if I'm always having issues eating there and I can't trust that you are charging me correctly, then I'm not going there.

Definitely not a place to come for wine. House wine is the Walmart house brand and the selection lacks (they do not even carry a single Zinfandel). Service was horribly slow and the bartender forgot a food order.

This place is great. We had a number of "shared plate" apps like ahi tuna nachos.. and  shrimp rolled in bacon and peppers. A little pricey for lunch.. but very good.

Food here is ok. No real complaints. However the sound is terrible! I couldn't even have a conversation with my wife across the table. It wasn't the sound system although that was running. The acoustics are just amplify everything.I have heard that this is the 'trend' because it helps move people through the restaurant but I HATE IT.

It was quiet on Saturday afternoon around 2:00 and we enjoyed the music and the ambiance. The food was great ! I ordered the fish tacos and I must say that they were the best fish tacos I have ever had anywhere. There were 3 tacos served with a nice size side salad and a bowl of really great black beans. The chicken sandwich was huge and really delicious with a nice smoky flavor and tasty honey mustard. The french fries were hot and really good but not greasy.
We will definitely be back again. Could be a new favorite for us.

Definitely a favorite of ours since it opened. The prices can be a bit steep, but at least somebody has stepped outside the chef box to bring fun and delight to the stack of appetizers. We order 3 or 4 of these and drink the night away. The cocktails seem to be a bit strong (per Bar Rescue on Spike...). It's also good to sit outside without being on a major highway. Now for the nit picking. Twice we have had extra items placed on our bill so instead of just handing over the credit card, its scrutiny time. Also it lists music as "background". no, they have also joined the the club of letting the local musician blast out the tunes. Guys, we're in a small room, not House of Blues. Generally they have staff who know what they are doing, occasionally the bored uninterested student gets in, but hey. And, my wife enjoys this, but nobody ever knows the password for the wifi. Really, you need a password?

Went in with high expectations and just found the food to be ok.  What really messes me up is when the food is not as described (that's you, asparagus with tempura batter that is really not tempura but a egg-wash and breadcrumbs).

Drink menu is good and creative - big markups on the wine.

I'll give them a second chance at a less busy time of day.

A+ for the patio especially on a beautiful evening....D- for the menu. The food should be compared Bennigans...fast food at its best. Wine list was even worse. I will never go back

Seems like a nice place to enjoy a drink with friends. I didn't eat here, but I did enjoy a tasty adult beverage or two. They're draft beer selection is lacking and they store some of their bottled beer in a flouresent lit cooler. THIS IS BAD! Light ruins beer. They had several green and clear bottled beers in this cooler.

Great place Allen TX - I was with a friend from out of town who immediately ordered a wine that she was familiar with and then we apprized on the Shrimp, Asparagus and tuna nachos - I am downplaying all of these by just saying I had each one with their generic name.  Everything was excellent.  My one annoyance is they have live music and we were there to talk and catch up.  We sat at the furthest table from the band, so it was okay, but not sure why bands need to be so loud.  We can hear - we are in the same room!   Anyway, this will be an even better place in the fall when you can sit outside on the large patio and dine on these scrumptious morsels!

Oh - and I got the Yelp coupon so I even saved some $$$$.

I love this place! The food and drinks all have a unique edge to them and the service is usually great. I think in all the times I've been here, I've only not liked one thing, and I'm picky. If something isn't perfect, they will make it perfect for you.

The open window concept is an awesome touch on a nice day. Watch for special nights like wine down Wednesday or live music nights. They also have a great view of the green across the street where theresa always something going on to watch.

Check out the bar too. The bartenders are lots of fun and always thinking of creative ways to make new drinks. You won't be bored with your usual!

Also, the place is spotless! They have spoiled me with their shiny, polished glasses and clean everything! Now when I go to other places I almost don't want to stay because they arm dirty in comparison!

Check or Savour! You won't be disappointed!

I'm clarifying my review of a cupla weeks ago regarding the "raw" salmon we had that took our great meal from a ***** to a **** rating. In re-reading the review I can see how one might get the impression the salmon was raw, as that's what I called it a couple of times. The salmon was simply undercooked and served rare. Once recooked to where the red interior was slightly pink it was excellent.

Otherwise I want to re-emphasize that the four of us thoroughloy enjoyed our experience there and will absolutely be back soon and look forward to awarding this fine restaurant a ***** rating. A most welcome addition to the Allen dining scene.

I live at Watters Creek and have been in a few times. It just gets better every time, although it was pretty great from the first visit! My 22 yr old daughter & I took my 70 year old mom to Savour for her Bday and this place works for every age! We all loved the music & that wasn't even a 'live' night. Fortunately, not a place for kids.

Love this place. This was my second time here and the first time was good but not stellar due to the service, but I gave it a second chance because everyone can have an off night. I was not disappointed this time around.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice, but it's really the atmosphere of Watter's Creek that makes this place so special. The outside patio overlooks the central green of Watter's Creek, and it's so lively and fun you feel like you're part of a community.

The food was excellent both times I visited, and the wine selection is decent.

    I'll definitely be back.

The hubby and I took the in-laws to Savour last night for Mother's Day. We were a little nervous because we'd had cocktails there before, but had never eaten.
My goodness we were SO pleasantly surprised! First off, let me say that Dustin was a fantastic server! He had great recommendations, provided service with a smile and was overall extremely pleasant and knowledgeable of the menu.

So we ordered several small plates and honestly, everything we had was delicious! But individually, I have to say the Mac N Cheese was exceptionally tasty and I only wish I had ordered more. The flavor was so rich and delicious, it's obvious they use only high-quality ingredients in their dishes.

We also tried the duck quesadillas. Sounds weird, but they were so yummy! The meat was done perfectly and had a fantastic flavor.

We tried the gyro which was delicious and had wonderfully seasoned lamb and fresh feta and veggies. The pita was soft and fresh and the entire dish was just well put-together.

But our favorite of all the dishes was the Ahi Tuna Nachos. We've had these at other restaurants before, but Savour just hit it out of the park with this dish. Even my father-in-law who is a proclaimed sushi hater couldn't get enough of it.  You have big wonton chips fried to a crisp, then topped with the freshest ahi tuna and a light pico, then drizzled with a creamy spicy sauce. OMG. I'll go back over and over just to enjoy these little morsels!

Anyhoo, the hubby and I can't wait to go back. They have a fantastic wine list that's well-priced, and hand-crafted cocktails that are creative and tasty.

Great job Savour! I hope you guys are around for a long while!

This was my second visit to Savour. My first one didn't fare very well, but I always give a place a second chance in case they have an off day.
It was a beautiful day so we opted to sit outside and enjoy the weather. I didnt see anyone around so I was already thinking that the service would be lacking. As soon as we sat down though, the waiter appeared out of thin air and took our drink orders which were delivered right away. I ordered the Ahi tuna nachos which were very well presented and came 6 to an order which was enough to share. They were delicious.
We then ordered the Greek Pizza. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it sounded good.
It was delivered in a timely manner, large enough to share and again was delicious.
Overall a very nice experience worthy of the second chance.

I love this place! We have been here a many times and have always has great food, drinks, and service! My favorites include the Mac and cheese, meatballs, all the pizzas are good, pita and hummus...and the list goes on! The ambience is great and I love the outdoor bar and patio seating it is right across from the green and will be amazing when there are concerts!

I stopped by for a glass of red wine and a bite to eat.  I really enjoyed their patio and with quick access to my server as well ( that doesn't always happen when sitting outside).  I just loved that Spanish Pizza which burst with a little bit of "BAMM" for flavor.  The live music inside and combined vibe from the staff left us all wanting more. We ended staying for dinner.  Truly a fun experience with not only the level of service from the staff but the attention to detail in presentation and  food quality.  Each dish had it's own unique flavor that so very tasty as it melts in your mouth.

The park is right across the street for kids to play at while we got to have a little adult time.  We will be adding this to our list of evenings out and can't wait until Watercreek brings back the outdoor lawn concerts again.  We didn't find that it was pricey as we tend to eat out at least a few times a week.

Love this place!!! First went there when they initially opened--late evening for drinks and some food.. .had the gyro, greek pizza and wings... all of which were awesome!  Have been back several times and am never disappointed!  the tuna nachos are AWESOME!!!!  The ambiance is amazing, service is excellent and beyond expectations---in a world where customer service is sorely lacking-Savour delivers!  The food is always excellent (my adult son likes the sliders and wings)... The bartenders are knowledgeable--can make pairing recommendations that hold up to the test--which you can do before you "buy".  The drink du jour recommendations have been good too!  EASILY my favorite place to go--and I highly recommend it to everyone!

We stopped in for a drink during the week.  The decor was nice and cozy.  I liked what they did with the bar area and the open windows.  I had the Orange Margarita which was terrible.  Next time I will stick to wine/beer.

We moved to a booth to eat.  We ordered Duck Quesadillas, Cheese Plate and Wings. The cheese plate was pretty bad- the cheese was tough and hard to cut into.  They did bring us another order of wings as they messed up the sauce, which was very nice.  Overall we were not impressed with the food and it is pricey for the quality.  If we come back it will just be for drinks and a change of scene.  We would not be dining here again.
