Not bad if you want to pig-out on mediocre pseudo-Italian fast food. Â I must admit, I like their 'stuffed' pizza (it has a top crust, also, and I always get it with sauce poured over the top), it's quite salty, though. Â Pastas are OK, nothing special, but they offer a pasta and thin slice combo for like $6, a pretty good deal.
Review Source:When you want pizza for lunch and you don't want your co workers to stare at you when you bring in a whole pie for just yourself, you have got to hit up a by the slice joint. Â Sbarro may not be the best pizza around, but it is pizza and it is available quick and by the slice.
I used to hit up the Sbarro in the Thompson Center but after one too many run ins with people begging for change I decided to walk the extra block to this location instead. Â The pizza was quick, the place was clean, all in all I was happy with my experience and will make this my new Sbarro of choice.
That being said- it is Sbarro. Â The pizza is ok- not great. Â The bread sticks are always kind of off, and It is outrageous to pay $7 for a slice, stick and soda combo. Â But when you want pizza for lunch the only other choice I can come up with is a frozen pizza.
But if you have a better solution to the pizza conundrum for lunch I am all ears.
