It's a tavern, so how extensive can a review be?

My pool team will start playing out of here in a week, so last night we decided to have a practice session.

The tables have all been newly felted and new rails put on.  The bartender mentioned they will also be replacing the balls very soon.  Excellent!

Pitchers of PBR for $7.50, great deal.

Typical food menu with burgers, fries and sandwiches.  Last night they had a special of $1 BLT Sliders.  Soft buns filled with 2 strips of crispy bacon, crisp lettuce and large slice of tomato.  Very tasty.

I also ordered the Fried Chicken Gizzards for $3.  About 8-10 gizzards with a bag of chips.  Also tasty.

The bartender was very friendly and came over often to check on our drinks.

Overall a very nice experience and I'm looking forward to starting our new pool season here.

Just beer, which is fine. The regulars look at you funny as you enter the bar. Hard to walk around the place due to a poor seating arrangement, not like they need any of the booths (mostly broken) at all, as there is never anyone sitting in them. This is a live and die local bar... Don't come here expecting to have the time of your life.

Decent bar, the bartender is hilarious. I am here on a regular basis for pool league. I probably wouldn't come back if it weren't for that reason.
