Lovely spot on the Columbia River. Â In the good weather, it's awesome. Â
We've been twice and the first time wasn't so good. Â Lousy service and just ok food. Â But the location brought us back.
Our next trip was much better although service could be better. Â Our waitress was helpful, but not very attentive. Â I think you should have a beer in your hand (or other beverage) within 5 minutes of ordering. Â We ordered the Bacchus IPA and the Sweet Heart IPA. Â Both were good. Â We shared a Spinach Inquisition Salad with Salmon. Â It was very good.
Service sucks (tried FOUR times)...wait staff dresses SLOPPY..can you believe they don't have corporate dress code??!! Hostess (who's your first impression) = sloppy hair a mess like she never slept the night before and never ONCE smiled. Â Waiter spilled dressing all over our table and NEVER cleaned it up! When he saw I did it...after waitign 30 minutes he said, (and I REALLY do quote) "Our bartenders are so slammed right now, sorry , if I were you I wouldn't wait, CAn I get your check?" Â WTF?! I have been a culinary manager for corporate chain restaurants my WHOLE life and I NEVER have EVER been so .... so... oh what's the word....disgusted! Â The bar is great the patio is great, but the ambiance doesn't do shit if you can't back it up with good food and good service...(ceviche sucks btw).....wasted $100 bucks every time I go... saving money...no more do I go there. Â View ain't worth the distraught. Â I just look around as a manager myself and I can see EVERYTHING they are missing. Â Sunny day...not enough staff...really? Â We've been forcasted for 2 freakin' weeks now...you can't make phone calls? Your staff hates you that much they won't answer your calls? Â Not my restaurant baby!!! I never ran bad labor and I NEVER had a server that wouldn't answer my text or call....they loved me and bend over backwards for me, that's what happens when you treat your staff right!!! I will NEVER go back to this place EVER again...nor will my friends. Â They all had similar experiences and after explaining to them that it was a corporate management issue they agreed....don't go back...that shit takes too long too fix...even if someone is actively trying to fix it. This place is horrible service and sub-standard food, bottom line...no THANK YOU! NO!
