The Quay Restaurant and Bar

For dinner last night, we were served by the manager, Nikki. She was great and the clam chowder was, too. The next morning, we went for the free breakfast that came with our room. While the food itself was good, the service was TERRIBLE. They had two food servers for the whole restaurant, as far as I could tell. It took 20 minutes just to get someone to take our order and we waited almost as long for our coffee. All in all, breakfast was 1.5 hours long and not by choice.

Great bowl of steamer clams so many we could have made a meal of just them.  Sadly saved room for the fresh halibut fish and chips.  Small pieces of fish and fries were limp and greasy.
Also the people watching is pretty good

If you want to stay local in Vancouver and still go out and dance this place is ok.
live music and dancing.  Reasonable priced drinks.
Olderish crowd. Still we had a blast dancing and turning heads lol.
