Shiraz Mediterranean Grill

We cleaned our plates.  Chicken Shwarma was excellent.  The kiddo liked his kabob and rice.  A little chintzy on the bread with the hummus, though.

While the menu has some strange Americanized options such as a chipotle sauce, if you choose the authentic offerings, the food is excellent.  Only complaint: My lamb kabob, while done to perfection, was pretty skimpy.

I've been here twice. The staff is friendly and helpful, but except for the delicious chicken, I'm not in love with the food. My only other experience with similar food is Safier's, which I have rated very high. I consider the chicken schwarma at Safier's one of my favorite meals. Perhaps I am just not into fatouch and the like, but for the money (almost $11 before tip), the food at Shiraz isn't anything I'd ever rank as a favorite.
